Everyone must come into this beautiful time capsule. The vintage woodwork and mounding is a sight to behold, and the staff is the friendliest in town. The prices are exceptionally reasonable, and the food is phenomenal. It’s a beloved part of town for every local, and many visitors
i always go there since i was kid. Walked to there from St. Mary's School for the deaf. Missed go there lately since i live in Texas but when the St. Mary's reunion comes up i will for sure to stop by....Thanks Parkside Candy stays STRONG!!
Parkside candy is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve time traveled back to the 80’s/90’s !! It really gave an authentic taste and feel . The service was wonderful & the workers were so sweet and kind . Once you stop in your jaw drops due to the beautiful scenery . This place is one of buffalo's hidden gems for sure !! While you stop by make sure you grab a brownie sundae and a pineapple shake !! Enjoy :)
What's not to love about this delicious historic shop? Gorgeous interior, counters and display tables lined with delicious confectionery treats. Warm, friendly staff. So good. It's been thirty years since I graduated college and the place has hardly changed at all. Well done Parkside Candy. Don't forget to leave room for dessert when you're visiting Buffalo.
So nice! I can't wait to go back. The selection of chocolates is great and the ice cream a lovely treat. Looking forward to going back with my mom and my kids!
Ok so I never leave reviews and I feel I have to warn others. I like parkside chocolate normally. HOWEVER my dad bought us all the sugar free chocolate assortments for Easter. As far as taste they were great , too good in fact that I indulged in 3 pieces. BUT that’s where the fun ended. It was a gastronomic nightmare. Thinking it was the flu I tried some more 2 days later and it was disastrous! Called the fam to see if anyone else had the same issue and they did ?. Sadly I have to warn people to stay AWAY from the sugar free stuff. Maybe one might be ok but no more ! Super sad we all have to toss our boxes but the pain just wasn’t worth it.**To respond to the reply from parkside - we are all trying to watch our weight. He usually gets our chocolate from another company and have NEVER had this issue. Maybe put a warning because yes they in fact are just like laxatives. Even one piece gives you the tummy rumbles.

Wonderful atmosphere! We stopped for lunch after a chilly walk at Delaware park. The gentleman who waited on us was friendly and efficient. The sandwiches were delicious and reasonably priced.
Five star! Fabulous turtles (different name) and The Best dark chocolate sponge candy, wonderful staff and style. I appreciated that the store is open after church on Sundays. I'll be back next time I'm in Buffalo.
