I had a wonderful anniversary dinner here, the lobster risotto is definitely worth getting full. It was delicious and rich, and the amount of lobster was very fair. The Hudson valley duck was great too! Our server, Carrie really made our night special and went out of her way to come at the perfect times and was super helpful and honest with the selections. Brent was also extremely nice and took care of us when Carrie was with other tables. Can’t wait to come back!

My family and I have made Oliver's part of our tradition for celebrating holidays and special events. We always look forward to the superb service, the thoughtfully crafted menus, and delicious fine dining. There are always new dishes, ingredients, and presentations to look forward to. Everything is top notch, and I always feel that the prices are reasonable with the level of experience. Oliver's is not a place we get to visit often, but we always leave with fantastic memories.
Phenomenal meal, and best service in a long time! Anthony curated a wonderful experience as our Sommelier, and chef's menu was superb. Karl could not have been a more pleasant server, and you'll be blessed to have him for an evening.This restaurant is a Buffalo staple. They've stood the test of time because of their quality, attitude and ability to reinvent the menu to keep things new. If you have never been, and you have a desire to go, don't even think twice. Just make a reservation, and get in there!
April 12, 2022Good Day,Yesterday was our two year engagement anniversary. I was perusing online destinations to cater to my lady for the evening. After browsing I remembered every time being at the intersection of Amherst and Delaware- my lady stating that I've never taken her there. So, rightfully so I made reservations for 8:00 p.m. which was user friendly online and easily confirmed through my email as well as cell phone via text.Moving forward, upon arriving there was valet car service. The valet gentleman was very inviting/ well mannered & even opened the doors for my lady and I to get out the car. Addition taking the initiative to do the same for the door to the establishment and followed suit in the same manner on the exiting portion of the establishment while offering to take a picture of us for our memories hence; earning gratuity when it was all set and done.Once entering the building there is a coat check in the foyer area if you chose to utilize that option. After that there is a podium where a hostess expeditiously checks for your reservations and seats you immediately.The ambiance of this location is completely exceptional. The wait staff are dressed to the impress and the table was set up like they were expecting us. Tablecloth as well as tableware were practically brand new and clean. The wine list is quite extensive and the selection of food was eclectic concurrent to being able to touch anyone's pellets. The waiter which I believe his name was Dave was very attentive and the epitome of helpful in asking questions while embodying a charisma required for the role that he has been employed for.Food portions were great and the way the cuisine was prepared was top tier. I recommend the waygu steak ?. The spinach bread was tasty. We were even offered three different types of water (bottled, sparkling or tap). I really appreciate the initiative as far as service and quality at this establishment. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and a large party was seated in the main dining room with us and others. The people were dropping f bombs and were rude, loud and obnoxious. We brought it to our waiters attention but nothing was done. Oliver’s is supposed to be one of a few fine dining restaurants in Buffalo. The manager should have addressed the table as other guests were also visibly upset and uncomfortable. It left a very bad taste in our mouth. Shame on Olivers management!My husband sent this to Oliver’s two weeks ago and we never received a reply.
