First time eating here. I'm from New Jersey visiting Buffalo. My fiance is from Buffalo kinda vouched for this place, because it was good once upon a time. He wasn't that thrilled after we left. His bread was stale and the Suvlaki chicken wasn't that good either. I wasn't that pleased with my food or the place. Flies were all over the restaurant and place was dirty. I don't recall seeing sticky fly traps anywhere. If flies are all over the restaurant who's to say that they aren't in the food in the kitchen?
Food is always delicious here. They've been in business a long time with the same staff. Breakfast and lunch specials are great.
Ordered here over probably about 10 times in the last year. The staff are ALWAYS nice and courteous, the food is great, and you get a lot for the price. We haven't dined in yet, we always take it to-go but they are extremely fast and there is never a long wait.
We're just in Buffalo for a visit and looked up a breakfast place online and this location popped up....Great Decision.....small and quint but busy, the food was great and a hefty plate, enough to have for later. The place is very clean and I looked up at the ceiling vents. Would definitely go back and try lunch or dinner and recommend you'll give them a try. ? ?
WOW, WHAT A GREAT PLACE FOR A QUICK & YUMMY MEAL!!!!! My buddy & I were looking for a greasy spoon to have a quick breakfast about 1pm. Found Nick's. Doesn't look like much from the outside & you walk by the kitchen to get to the seating area. Staff is friendly. We got one of the 2 open booths, it was packed! Prices are AMAZING!!! Nothing over $11 which include tax!! I had a greek omelete with homefries, toast & a glass of water. My buddy had 2 eggs, sausage, homefries, toast, 2 pancakes & 3 cups of coffee. Our bill was $22 & the food was excellent!!!!!!!! No wonder this place was packed!! We will be frequent visitors!!!!
Great waitress great home style food and quick service. Everyone that worked there was friendly. Prices were very reasonable.
Love their breakfast and homemade bread. Open bright and early in Black Rock on Amherst st this is a great hidden spot. Edited to add photos - another great visit!
I love the welcome me and my girlfriend receive as soon we get there. It's such an warming place that feels like home. All crew members are very friendly and the food is amazing
