Food was good, drinks were good though the selection was a little slim. Service was great and they had an open mic the night I went. Some great music was played and fun was had. Check it out if you are in the area.

Fantastic staff, wonderful music, great drink prices.
So... funny story about this place. I used to be fairly regular here for open mics and karaoke. Supporting local music and up-and-coming talent is very important to me. Once in a while, I would sing a Neil Diamond song at karaoke, and after one rendition of "Sweet Caroline," the owner came up to me and bought me a drink. He got emotional telling me of the days Lance Diamond would sing that song there and how much he missed him. I appreciated it. In fact, I've had a number of good memories here. So I was pretty disappointed when one evening I was told that I was no longer welcome. Turns out my ex-girlfriend (whom I still adore and respect) had been spreading rumors that I was some kind of creeper. I don't know the details, but basically vindictive lies, it would seem. Now, yes, there are other dive bars with live music in the area. But this incident was particularly demeaning and hurtful given the history. The idea that management and staff there would pass judgment based on hearsay despite all evidence to the contrary is beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. It's sad, really. Rumors, gossip, and high school-ish antics have no place in such a storied establishment. I know that I'm not the first to fall victim to this kind of behavior. I can only hope that others have a better experience going forward, and that I will return maybe one day when management is in better hands. And yes, the bathrooms could use some work. ✌️
Definitely a place to go if you want to meet nice people. The food is in inexpensive and while not a huge variety is pretty quality.
always a great vibe! love playing and attending shows here
Milkies is a Buffalo classic ? I recommend weekday open mic nights (Tuesdays, I think) and every Wednesday there is a really fun rowdy stand-up comedy open mic night that you should absolutely check out if you never have. The best stand-up comedy open mic in Buffalo....usually about 20-30 local comics sign up every Wednesday. Also this place really struggled during and after the quarantine/shut-down. Please support Milkies if you can - they are still getting back on their feet.
Place is musty, dusty and crusty and it really needs a complete revamp and rebrand. I mean come on. I feel gross sitting in there the place probably hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. God only knows what the kitchen looks like.. I am only giving 2 stars because I did have a pretty decent drink. However, not sure why people come here. The crowd is always a little odd.
Great vibes, men's room not the best. The lead microphone was super quiet, and had to tell sound about mic 2.
