Food was good but service was absolutely awful. I understand everyone is short handed but the waitress took our order and we didn’t see her again until she dropped off the check.
They have practically no vegetarian options and maybe one that could pass as vegan. It's 2022... just Google "vegetarian recipes" and offer one decent one rather than just thawing a veggie patty out, slapping it on a bun, and charging 15 bucks. The mac n cheese was flavorless and I could only eat a few bites. The waiter was either new or bad. I couldn't tell, but hopefully just new. He seemed very under-trained.Overall, the menu is sorely lacking options and the entire experience felt like the owners just don't actually care about it. Very generic food options you can get at 900 other restaurants. With the inflation prices, nobody wants to spend this much money for bland and generic. I hope they bring in a consultant of some kind to fix this place up a bit. I am sad to see a location that was once a very good restaurant with a diverse menu turn into... whatever this is.

First time visit. Love the new decor however was looking forward to new England clam chowder & chicken pot pie .... both were very disappointing . There was a very heavy taste of like a turkey dressing seasoning . I was so hungry I ate half of it . So sad even my wife said it was way over seasoned . Will visit again but won't order any of that . Good service.
Had a great meal tonight at Mike and Pops!! We all got the Haddock special every way and enjoyed it. My husband and I got the blackened haddock which was excellent!Warning..Spicy though if that’s not your thing. :) The mac salad is original and very good!! Amazing hand cut fries and Ashely, our server was great!!! Give this place a try if you haven’t been here before!! Please remember everyone is having staffing challenges and doing the best they can so have some patience:). Very reasonable drink prices also!
My wife and I took my in laws here for a meal for the first time and we will be back. The food was tasty, large portions, and reasonable. We had the Italian sausage dip and stuffed banana peppers for apps and they were a toss up on which was more delicious, the table voted for the sausage dip (I recommend both). Very cheesy, came with breadstick dippers. I had the Mike's burger, it was tasty and their sauce was good, onion rings were cooked right. The rest of the table had the in grass sandwiches and chicken fingers and good reviews. Drink selection was large and good beers on tap. Service was excellent and got a chance to chat with Pop and that was a nice few minutes.
We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, we were greeted right away by a friendly waitress and seated immediately.We were given ice water with lemon as soon as we sat down. The waitress took our drink order and gave us menus.We had burgers and the chicken sandwich and it was all perfectly cooked and tasted great.We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.
Some of the best French Onion soup I've had. Their chicken pot pie is outstanding. The staff is excellent and extremely observant. I accidentally hit the skillet handle and slightly burned myself and the waiter came over almost immediately and asked if I needed ice... highly recommend them.
Excellent sandwich. I ordered the bourbon steak sandwich with a side of onion rings. Sandwich was fantastic. Can't believe how tender the strip steak was. I we'll definitely be ordering here again
