I ordered a breakfast sandwich that I never got my salmon had no seasoning at all....my grits were oozing oil i couldn't take it......my eggs had no cheese I can't eat them like that nor did I order them that way.... my Mac and cheese noodles were so soggy and greasy I couldn't even eat it....this was my first time trying the food and I am extremely disappointed. I was not able to eat any of it....... waste of my money I'm so mad.... horrible is being nice
The only thing that tasted fine we're the yams. Dry bland pork chops, the greens tasted too sour and the Mac and Cheese was funky and mostly grease. Was not worth the price they are charging. Confident I'll never get their food again
At least half the menu was unavailable. It was 45 minutes before closing, so somewhat understandable, but still disappointing. The smothered pork chops were great. But on the pricey side at 24 bucks for a meal and drink, and it's food court style dining. Not an actual sit down restaurant.
Saw ad for place in Buffalo magazine and decided to meet a friend for dinner. It is located in the Broadway Market which might not be for everyone but the food is worth it. My girlfriend ordered a chicken dinner with sides of green beans (with potatoes) and mac & cheese. She really raved about how good the mac & cheese which was her favorite part of the meal. I went with pork chops since they were out of oxtail. I got two nice chops with three sides of green beans, yams and a some excellent mashed potatoes. Both our meals came with drinks. While the Broadway Market might be the best neighborhood to attract some people, it proved to be some excellent down south cooking and I would recommend eating here for excellent food and good portions. I bit pricey but delicious
Had a very horrible recent experience eating from here. Ordered me a rib dinner and my husband a fish dinner . Never seen uncooked food till I had this place. I never do bad reviews even if it’s a flaw but I had DoorDash refund me back my money from eating from them #NeverAgain
If I can give these dirty foul mofo a no stars they would have none the worse I mean the worse food I ever ever ever taste I should of known just by the building I chopped it up as a lost the health department should pay them a visit when I say that ain’t no soul food y’all better listen for real I feel traumatize

Found a dead fly on my pork chops…mash potatoes were instant…yuck…Not cheap either. Won’t be back for obvious reasons.
