Great and friendly service, the best hoagie I've ever tasted, wings were tasty, and the pizza was okay. Will be back for the hoagies!
My family and I have been long time customers of La Nova since the 90s. The food I received tonight was absolutely atrocious. Not only was the delivery driver extremely rude AND TEXTED ME saying “call back or I’m taking your food back” makes me question the type of people that are working there, but my food WAS COLD. I ordered Mac and cheese bites and a small white pizza. I live 10 minutes from there. My food was cold it was definitely out for 30 minutes+ the cheese on the white pizza was dry because it was no longer warm. I am truly disappointed at the lack of professionalism and lack of care for the delivery orders. I am extremely disappointed in the food. I’m pretty sure wet cat food tastes better than what I received tonight, and that says a lot. I had to microwave my pizza and only had it 5 minutes. DISGUSTING. Long story short I have now wasted $30 on food that I will end up throwing away, lost my appetite and will for sure NEVER be ordering from here again. Thanks for losing a TRULY LOYAL customer.
Was visiting Buffalo for the weekend from Canada..I wanted pizza and chicken wings and my girlfriend who is from Buffalo suggested La Nova and the chicken finger pizza !! It was so good and the wings were so good and huge!! I know I’ll be back again when I’m in town !!!
I was visiting for the weekend and was told I had to try La Nova before I left. I was not disappointed. The wings were hot and crispy,just the way I like them and they didn't shrink. They were a nice size. I couldn't eat all 10. Glad I was able to visit!
Recommended on the wing tourist wing guides, my brother, Jhony Onist, a local, also recommended this place to pop in for the authentic Buffalo experience.Pizza and wings were delicious. The key is the get the "pit" or "BBQ" wings as they are fried and then grilled. Delicious. The pizza is Brooklyn/Buffalo style, which is thicker than typical NY style but thinner than Chicago style.I highly recommend.
We ordered pizza with five hours notice before the specified delivery time for our ED staff who have all been working very busy 12 hour shifts without any notice. Only telling the driver who came to pick up the order that they were “too busy and won’t be completing it”. They neglected to contact us when they had decided to cancel the order and left us with no other choice of food because of the late hour. It’s very disappointing to put so much effort into taking care of others at their sickest and not even getting word that we needed to make a backup plan for our only meal for the night.
Really a wonderful place to be. I ordered veg pizza and it was so good that i cannot compare it to any other pizza i ever had. I love the staff, the atmosphere there. Cant find anything which needs improvement . Everything is so perfect.
Ordered pizza for the exhausted ER staff working overnight on New Years Eve, the restaurant didn’t prepare the order or tell me that they couldn’t handle the order (4 pizzas) until the driver came to pick up the order when the restaurant told them they were too busy to make the order. At this time other pizza places had closed, so the ER staff couldn’t order anything else. Bad enough to be completely drowning in a pandemic, this restaurant doesn’t even have the courtesy to tell you they can’t make an order that was placed several hours in advance. Will never order from them again. Thanks for supporting your local healthcare workers, hope we can give you the same treatment when you show up in the ER.
Pizza was pretty good tasting, and pizza sauce was spot on, but what a price you pay for it! Ordered a "sheet" thinking it would be the size of a table as advertised and it came well below expectations. What you paid, you would expect a table! Pizza was very cheesy though, and pepperoni was good. Messed up the order and took over an hour to bring the correct food, so dinner was over by then. Would recommend the taste, but not the price, and not if you want to eat soon.
Wonderful experience! Big Joe was very personable! High quality pizza and wings. We chose the big steak pizza and the bbq wings it was all spectacular especially the homemade blue cheese.
