I bought a cinnamon roll which was gigantic !! I some and it was delicious!! Also the apple turnover was amazing !!! So glad I finally stopped in !!!
Usually spot on, as far as baked goods, but not overly impressed with their "Sweet and Savory" breakfast sandwich. The concept is awesome, however I found today's execution, a little lacking. The cinnamon roll used, at least on mine, seemed to be dry and maybe day or two old. The three eggs come scrambled as one giant blob like they were made in a muffin pan and barely cover 1/3 of the area of the sandwich. Meats were average supermarket stuff. If the planets align, I'm out that way again, and over-easy eggs are an option, I'd give it another shot. I do love their baked goods normally, and did leave with a piece of almond ring, full disclosure...
Finally got to try the cinnamon rolls. Went for my 30th birthday! The cinnamon rolls are massive and 1 was split between 4 people. We also got a breakfast sandwhich and it was delicious! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
baked goods are awesome, loved them so much, I shared with my friends & even bought gift certificates for Christmas...keep up the great work
Bought a peanut butter cookie cinnamon roll and regular cinnamon roll for co-workers to try. Huge, heavy, and delicious. Seriously... serves 6 - 8 ppl.... think they were about $11 each... peanut butter cookie was impressive. Nice peanut butter taste w/o being over powering.. Friendly staff. Would rate 5 but haven't tried any other menu items.
I’ve been eating this cinnamon roll for breakfast for 3 days! They’re huge. They’re delicious. If you haven’t tried one yet, have you really been living your best life?
"Not your average breakfast sandwich" - above average, and PLENTY for breakfast."Cinnamon Roll" - I impulse bought one because the four people ahead of me bought them - WOW. It's more than a single person can eat, but that's not the appeal - it's maybe the best cinnamon bun I've ever had in my 47 years.
I moved to OP one year ago from the mid-west and tried Kaylena’s based on proximity and reviews. To this day my son and I come nearly once a week after school. I brought my whole family in for brunch when they came to visit and they loved it. Kaylena and her staff do not disappoint; they go above and beyond my expectations(always give me an extra scoop of frosting without charging because that’s my favorite part), warm-welcoming, and have a great variety of food. The quality is second to none and I have yet to find a bakery which can either match their assortment or quality. Like I said..this is a once a week staple for treats.
Since the location changed, so did the quality of the food. I spent $32+ on the cinnamon rolls and they were hard, swimming in an inch of a butter/glaze slurry. What once was a religious experience to eat has become something I will never get or recommend again. I honestly think they were a day or two old that were heated up!! Unacceptable.
The pastry hearts are TO DIE FOR. They have a sugary crust which I have shown in the picture. No other bakery can compare... I've tried many! Almost everything I have tried here has been fantastic. However, I would stay away from the mac and cheese. I had high hopes and was sadly disappointed. It was very very very dry and bland. My turkey sandwich was great though.
