If never had real bbq or soul food before then this is the place you need to go to! If you’re in need of a good home cooked meal then this is the place to be at! Food made fresh daily! Authentic and delicious! My favorite side is the baked mac and cheese!! No one beats Ike & Bg’s when it comes to freshness and flavor!!
My first time visiting this place I've come past here many times since moving here My wife drove me over to the place I go in to order and told the young lady it was my first time and I was excited she then asked would I like a menu and before I could say yes a older lady says he can see the menu on the wall she was very rude . I then ordered ribs cabbage and beans I waited 20 min and I saw some cornbread coming out of the oven so I asked if I could have that and the older lady said in nasty tone "it's not for here" so I said well ok I got my food and the ribs were tough and the cabbage barely tender and a measly slice of white bread ? you need sharp teeth to eat here and I will not waste my money there again!
Price was reasonable, but burger wasn't like the picture, a flat dry sandwich...

I love me some soul food. I saw the advertisement on TV. I went there around 830pm they were all out of sides, when I got home the Mac n cheese was awful, it was extremely salty. I love my seasonings but you couldn't enjoy because it was extremely salty, the green beans were can green beans with no flavor, I guess the seasoning went all on the Mac n cheese. The candied yams taste like it was from a can, the only hood thing was the wings. It was a 40.00 dollar Bust! and the part that was disappointing as well they give you 2 pieces of slice bread no butter no jam, NADA! what am I suppose to do with that. The cashier/order taker, was ok but could have been more friendly and informative about their menu, OH and about there menu, it wasn't reader friendly.
The fish is outstanding will recommend everyone try it you'll love it you'll keep coming back 😃
I have been driving by this resturant for years without stopping. I would see the cook during all four seasons cooking his meats outside. It wasn’t until I saw them on TV talking about expansion did I decide to give them a play. And boy I’m glad I did. I called first to order a whole slab of ribs, Mac and cheese and the beautiful young lady on the telephone said it would be ready in 10 mins. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome. I was glad because they took my credit card which made it easy for me. The ribs were ready. And oh boy were they ready. The were cooked to perfection with a great taste. The mack and cheese were delicious as were the fresh cold slaw. The Mack and cheese should have been a little bigger but I can live with this or make my own. Overall I give them 5 stars. The young lady on the phone was very professional and extremely courteous. I will always ask for her.i see why they want to expand. Spread the love ❤️ and great food all over Buffalo. The customer service at this place is horrible, me and co-workers ordered food. When picked up, we didn't realize one of the orders were missing. We called to see what would be done to correct the situation, they stated we could receive refund or pick up again. We explained we worked in the ER and didn't have time to leave again. The "Manager" offered to drop the missing order off even tho it was against their policy. We waited am hr to receive nothing. Called back to check the status and was told the higher up told them it wasn't allowed but nobody even informed us they were no longer coming. So a pregnant nurse sat around with no food, when we already stated we would take the refund to order something else. They just issued a refund without even communi6. I would never order here again, not to mention my catfish was half cooked and the cabbage wasn't even seasoned good. Black businesses have got to do better.
