Inside an exclusive, historic Buffalo neighborhood you will find Hutch's. The ambiance was fit for any special occasion or celebration. The food was delicious! The salmon was grilled to perfection. The lamb was tender and flavorful. The surprise of the evening was the Kale salad with apricots and almonds. Loved it. This one gets a Vernon stamp of approval!
Celebrated our 20th anniversary earlier this evening .... The servers were absolutely fantastic. The food was equally great so was the ambiance ... I wish my food selection was as good as my wife's. This is what my wife got for being an unmatched roommate... Diamonds, Gold & Pearl's.
Hutch's may be one of the finest restaurants in Buffalo. It is certainly considered that by many longtime residents of the city. Last night was my first time, though I've heard about it before. Aside from the amazing menu, and the stately decor, I would say the most outstanding part of the experience was the highly trained professional staff, who absolutely know what they are doing and make it look effortless. Wow. Fabulous!
Do not rely on the Website photos. You will not leave disappointed. Food quality is excellent yet for Buffalo seeing a $144.00 steak dish was a shocker. Having experience in dining on some of more upscale NYC and European restaurants a sticker shock was a pleasant surprise. Unless originated in Japan no piece of beef can be worth that much. Otherwise, spectacular experience and milestone birthday celebration. Recommended.
Fantastic food, great service! I'd definitely go back! The Hutch's candied bacon on a plate is soo good. I got the lobster and shrimp bisque, Beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. I would definitely get them both again! My husband got the house smoked salmon special. He said it was simple but good as well. Loved the fruit bowl as well! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
One of the worst experiences I've had while experiencing fine dining. Went on my anniversary with a 8:45pm reservation. When we arrived the hostess wouldn't even make eye contact while telling us that our table wasn't ready and to wait at the bar and someone will find us. We waited 30 minutes to be sat. (9:16pm) Another 20 minutes to order. (9:40pm) We didn't receive our appetizers until 50 minutes after ordering. And finally we didn't receive our meals untill 10:38....they close at 11:00pm. We asked for the meal to go and payed our checks early so we could make it somewhere else. The manager was cold,when we mentioned the two hour wait. We were offered a complimentary dessert for our troubles.. which wasn't in the bag when we left... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially if you're celebrating something of note. The food was not worth mentioning as the service was all I can think about.
Oh wow! Very nice place with the best service! From the greeting at the hostess stand to the server and their assistants. Very nice presentation. Very willing to change things up for particular taste. The bacon was an oh wow! I am still talking about how yummy it was. Great place. Not much parking.
