I had the braised beef soup here which was extremely disappointing. The soup itself was straight water. No flavor or nothing and they seem to throw the beef on there form something else because the beef actually tasted okay.I wouldn’t recommend that dish at all.
Came here because I heard they had some of the best dumplings around. Ended up ordering fried pork dumplings and pork buns as well. My original order was apparently picked up by someone else though so I ended up with pork & shrimp dumplings instead. Day of they were phenomenal (really enjoyed the dipping sauce as well)Leftovers were a different story however. The next day the dumplings and buns which I reheated in a pan ended up disagreeing with me which ended up with having to trash the rest of it.I plan on giving it another chance and trying something new next time just hope it turns out better.
Do not miss out on this place. But also don’t take my table cause I’ll be there!
I absolutely love this place. It's a hole in the wall and a little bit of a tight place but the food is so worth it. Delicious and as authentic as you can get in this area.
The food here is good. It taste like home style food. The menu might seem intimidating but you can Just blindly pick something. Anything you order here is good.
Moved up from NYC to Buffalo, and let me tell you, this is probably the closest to authentic Chinese food you'll find anywhere around the area. If you're looking for Chinese American cuisine (you know, the general tso's chicken, the beef and broccoli, the lo mein and fried rice), then you're at the wrong spot. If you're looking for, say, sour mustard fish filet stew (if you know, you know), then this is it. Look no further. That is all.
Dining area is very small, but don't let impact your decision. Authentic and delicious food. You won't be disappointed.
Wanted beef and broccoli, got a kind of soup with greens and grizzle and fat. Won ton soup was flavorful but the dumplings were mush Thought it would be great because of the reviews but we were very disappointed.
My partner and I walked into the restaurant at 7:40 this evening. (They close at 9:30) As we went in, a woman came out of the kitchen and looked at us in a weird way. She then asked us what the name was for pickup. When we explained that we wanted to be seated, she looked confused. Then she told us they were busy (there was one couple in the place) and would not be able to serve us. So I guess now grub hub takes precedence over customers who want to sit down and eat in!Needless to say, we will never go back, nor recommend this place to anyone.
