Hearth + Press is a go-to for me every time I'm on Main or headed to Town Ballroom. This pizza is cooked to perfection! Dough-y, but the crust is crispy and they're very careful not to over-cook. The pepperoni is slightly charred, giving it a really nice texture. I know that you can share the pizzas, but I don't think I could do that. Just too good! Quick service and friendly staff. This place is a must in Buffalo.
Absolutely Phenomenal Food. Pizza was cooked to perfection, the wings were the best we had in the city, and the hot pepper dip was perfect. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. This place is now a mandatory visit whenever I'm in town.
This was our first visit. The food was fantastic and so was the service.
Looking for good Woodfire pizza and came across this place. As for the pizza the doe was good, but nothing to write home about. I had the four cheese pizza, whatever they put on the top made the pizza sweet. It was just OK. I ordered the chili wings (chili sauce made in-house). The wings were not edible. They were burnt so bad that there was no meat inside the chicken wing. The two stars are for the atmosphere which was nice. Needless to say I will never return. Please do not respond rudely. The food was just not good.
As someone who is not a big "buffalo pizza" guy, this place really was satisfying to me. Good, brick oven, thin, and tasty pizza. Definitely worth a stop in!
Went to see Gary Numan and was a bit hungry so ate at this place just down from the venue (there are also a bunch of theatres nearby including Shea's). It has a great location but it is a small venue and if a lot is going on, you might want to consider a reservation. I got lucky to get a table preshow and ordered a Marinara Pizza (Fresh garlic and oregano. *no cheese*) to tide me over. The service was good but the pizza was just average. I know I was going cheap but there was little taste to this pizza for me. Maybe I would have preferred a white, Buffalo or shrimp pizza but it is what it is. If you want drinks, they have a nice bar and the bathrooms are well kept. Not sure if I'll ever try them again but I will definately try something else.
Great place! Tried Hearth & Press before a show at Shea's. Stuffed pepper dip and pizza were both amazing! Great service, cool, hip atmosphere! Try it, you won't be disappointed! ??
Tasty and unique flavor profiles
What a terrific dinner last night...Let me say that Johnny, who greeted us the door was an added delight to the mix. He was extremely friendly and accommodating and we had a terrific pizza and salad. Our server Lauren was so kind and made sure that our order was brought in enough time for us to enjoy the meal and have time for a wonderful dessert of rice pudding. Even though it was theatre night at Shea's and a concert was on at Town Ballroom, the service was wonderful, the staff was gracious and accommodating and the food was DELICIOUS....we will see you for dinner before the next show.....check this restaurant out.....you will not be disappointed
