We just had dinner there last night and the food was excellent! I had the chicken pesto sandwich and my husband had a burger. Their macaroni salad is really yummy too. Enjoyed sitting on the patio as it was a beautiful evening!
We arrived at 1:41pm. The waitress brought us waters and took our appetizer order. We received our app at 2:13. We ordered the medium wings, those were delicious. We ordered our entrees fish tacos(only available on Fridays), French onion soup and PB and J burger. The PB and J burger was raw(see picture). The service was slow. We sat near the kitchen and could see the cook sitting on the counter near the prep station, employees vaping in the back, as well as other employees sitting in the back talking. We let the waitress know about our raw food. We’re not from here but it won’t be on our list to come back either. Service was very slow. We headed out at 3:11pm. Yes, I wrote this whole sitting in the restaurant.
Where to begin: We stopped in for a few beers, and selected from an Untappd menu that didn’t pricing or size information. We picked an pale ale and a porter. They were served in mini glasses that were at best 12 oz. but possibly 10 oz. When I asked the bartender what size it was, he said “…..8 oz.??” and clearly didn’t know. I was pretty shocked by the size (also notice there’s even a little cutout inside the glass, further reducing the volume). When I got the tab, I was floored to see they charged us $8 for this. Weirdly, other people seemed to maybe have full pints, so unsure how you get those….have to ask? Menu showed no sizing or pricing, so zero transparency, plus the uninformed bartender = we left after that beer. Patio was great, beer selection was solid, so 3 Stars.
Went for lunch on the patio and food was delicious & service was great!
Got a massive pretzel (hand for scale) and wings. The pretzel was obviously freshly made given it took 15 minutes to arrive and was really hot, yet also extremely delicious! Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the wings, but they were also quality Buffalo wings. Certainly better than a lot of other places.Go here if you want to eat slightly overpriced yet quality Buffalo-style food in the trendy hipster area of Allentown.
Great experience. Food was delicious and service good. Good beer selection. Will be back when in town.
I just had their PB&J burger and it is absolutely delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and was juicy. The blackberry bacon jam is incredible. The Mac salad was delicious. It was a great lunch!
Huge portions. Everything I have had has been delicious. This time I tried the corn chowder with chorizo which was excellent and I would get it again if only for the corn fritters served on a skewer suspended over the bowl. The salads are always excellent, and we usually share one for lunch they are so large.
We had a delicious lunch here after our stroll around the older part of downtown Buffalo. The fish Tacos were amazing. Portions are big. Service was good. Prices were decent. Good place for out of towners to try!
Went to this place once more before leaving town and the food was good. However, I noticed that they would get all of the other guests who were white guests drinks from the dispenser near the back where we were sitting but then got our drinks from the bar area. After noticing this I asked for a different drink in which she got from bar area again. However , when we were leaving I asked for a drink to go and she then got it from the back where we were originally sitting at. It’s almost like they intentionally got our drinks out of sights opposed to all the whites. I m not very trusting of this place and will not be back!
