I will give one star for the nice waitress we had. But other than that, I would give negative stars if I could. You can’t make a reservation so we had to wait for almost an hour in line to get a table, ok, we chose to wait so whatever. Then we ordered drinks and they tasted like kool aid with ice, the most bland margaritas I’ve ever had. I ordered fish tacos and birria tacos, I swear to god a 5 year old could cook something better. It was barely edible. Not only that but the birria tacos had basically nothing in it other than cilantro and onions (look at the picture). The fish tacos had some sort of ground fish meat in it that I’ve never seen before, looked like cat food or something. No seasoning, no flavor, nothing, it was the same as buying a tortilla at a grocery store and eating it as is. Then we went to pay the bill (which is not itemized so you don’t know what each price corresponds to), and the waitress said we could just not pay separately, it had to be all in one card (we were a party of 4). I’ve been in many bad restaurants and I try to review them based on their strengths too but this one deserves an award for the worst in Buffalo.
Food was amazing. Saw one of the Goo Goo Dolls here tonight! Also fantastic frozen margaritas.
Drinks were very watered down and I understand it can get busy, but the chimichanga that was ordered was not deep fried. They just put everything in a burrito and called it a day and the waitress was no where to be found. I used to come here but don’t think I will. Food wasn’t seasoned too…
The food and drinks available are very affordable but I'm used to slightly bigger portions. A little more beans and rice would be nice. Salsa and chips were very good, spicy! I recommend getting chicken entrees here. Vegetarian options were bland unfortunately. The wait service was very attentive and fast delivery of orders. Lots of seating for big parties too.
I really enjoyed the Green Chili Enchiladas and the server was very friendly.
Could have added more meat and chicken to their combination fajita dish. For some reason it was very sparse and was mostly composed of bell peppers and onions. For the most part the food was very delicious and the dessert scrumptious.
Just had dinner here and are driving home now. My fiancé and I love Mexican, but this is not good. Watery queso & watery guacamole as starters. Entree included watery beans. I had one bite of fish taco and that was more than enough. Someone got to a fish, salted it, and shredded it to hell. Let me be clear . . . I love fish, but that “overly-fishy” flavor is a dead giveaway that the fish was not cooked to order. I can hear the kitchen staff now with an old, ugly filet . . . “Just put it in the food processor so it looks intentional.” Not. Good.
how to lose business. 8$ salty burrito smh. what are u hiding under that salt? i should have went to mighty taco
Ordered Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo on a Monday night. Was the best Garlic Shrimp I have had in ages and that includes 20 years in California. It was not a corporate interpretation of the meal but an authentic dish. Well seasoned Rice and a simple salad. Don't know how the other meals are but will go back again just for the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo.
"That was horrible" -my girlfriend after we left. The appetizer was cold and the tortillas arrived ripped. Both of our entrees were much smaller than expected. Chimichanga had very little meat, made to look bigger by a pile of sour cream and a large puddle of rather unseasoned beans. Also, you need to bring the check to the front. You will not be told this. Our experience explains why it was almost completely empty in the dinning area.
