We ate here for lunch on a Friday around 11:30. We didn’t have a wait, as they had just opened at 11. We read reviews that the original location is best, but we wanted to try the pizza they have on the menu here. We enjoyed our wings and the beef on weck pizza, however we liked the chunks better at Anchor bar as they were meatier. The Dr.Pepper char sauce was really good and the lunch side of fries were huge. The service was great.
I've always heard of Duff's as one of the best chicken wing places, but never actually been. Finally went to this location and I was blown away. Had their Dr Pepper wings and they were amazing! Their pizza is really good as well. Small place but even packed had great service. Went back 2 weeks later!
The chicken tender wrap and chicken wings were awesome. Right heat, crispiness, and flavor. Server was very cordial and attentive. Thank you for the great experience. We will plan to come back.
Terrible experience. Ordered the pizza, wings and french fries combo. Food is supposed to come out all at the same time. Got the pizza first. Decided to start eating. Half hour later, they bring out the french fries, still no wings. Waitress said they'll be right out. 20 minutes later, they finally bring out the wings. Who's running the kitchen? No apologies. No discounts. Just an all around terrible experience.
Best place for wings hands down
It was my first time in Buffalo, New York. I recently relocated due to a job. I had asked my real estate agent where were the best wings in town because I had heard I could “not miss” the buffalo wings. She mentioned Duffs and another establishment. Today I went to Duffs. To start with the good: the Cosmo was delicious, which Was unexpected as I figured it was a wings and beer place. The bad: the wings were over cooked and dry. Instead of wings drenched in a delicious Buffalo sauce , it appeared that the bottle of buffalo sauce was simply waived in front of the wings instead of coating them. There was a barest of flavors of buffalo sauce. It may be because I ordered mild but I should still be able to taste the flavor of the buffalo sauce. I also ordered a small salad and got Italian dressing. And like the buffalo sauce the Italian dressing was not at all flavorful. Definitely will not return.
Personal pizza was some of the best pizza I have ever had. I recommended getting wing sauce on the side with blue cheese and dip every bite.
We had a huge party (over 20) with kids and adults. The staff was wonderful !! Food came out pretty quick considering how many orders we had. Wings were pricey but they were excellent !! Try the dr pepper charBBQ if you are a BBQ fan. They mean it when they say medium is HOT.
I don't care what anyone else says, Duff's still has the best original style wings in Buffalo. I'm not into fancy-pants flavored wings, which other establishments may have a selection of. If you want BIG, juicy, spicy, saucy traditional wings Duff's is simply the best.
Ordered the southwest burger. Which initially tasted great. However it gave me severe food poisoning. ~I'm debating if I'll ever eat there again.
