Three of us had lunch here during the Allentown Art Festival. I realize the art festival made it more hectic than usual, but that doesn’t explain away the disappointment. Our table was wobbly. It had napkins stuffed under one leg. Fix it! I ordered Dos Equis amber on tap. Waited forever. Then went to the bar to see where my beer was. Told something was wrong with the tap. I said I would take regular Dos Equis on tap. Told that tap wasn’t working. Settled for a bottle of Dos Equis Amber. Our food arrived and it was lukewarm. Restaurant needs to be cleaned more frequently and better.
Authentic Mexican food. Huge menu and combos. Some original dishes as well. Homemade chips and salsaGreat drink menus with margaritas and tequila. Flavors were nicely done and blended well in the different meats. Not a huge place - probably a wait on Fridays and Sundays. Decor is far from fancy - old painted tables and chairs, wood floors. Our server was great... Handled our party of 8 with ease. Try it out when in Buffalo on Allen St.

The food was served super fast the waitress was amazing we had margaritas they were delicious, everything was good the food was good no complaints
Been here many days in my younger years. But not since the pandemic of covid 19. Bartender was helpful in assisting with questions about food and drink. The restaurant was packed due to the St. Patrick's day parade but food came out quickly and hot. Food was good drinks better and the crowd was fun.
Went on a lark because my wife wanted to eat Downtown after work. We got there and were seated quickly. The atmosphere gives off a Mexican pub kind of feel with regulars at the bar and plenty of tables. My wife got a Frozen Mango Margarita and was instantly pleased. The chips and salsa appetizer was delicious with the chips being fresh and the salsa having just enough spice. I ordered the Burrito Bandera which was amazingly flavorful and filling. My wife got the Burritos deluxe which gave her a bit of a sample and she was also very happy. I would definitely come back.
This is out favourite Mexican food in all of Buffalo. We go to Don Tequila every time we're there. The service is always friendly, the prices are fantastic and the food is delicious. Dilexy, our most recent server, was absolutely phenomenal - she made the whole dining experience great. Would highly recommend!
Terrible service by waitress Luce. Asked for salsa, never got it. She brought out our dinners and never realized that one (out of 3) of us never got our meal, and forgot part of the other dinners. Had to ask the manager about the missing dinner. Also my mother asked for a beer when she got her dinner and we never received it until we asked for the check, at least 20 minutes later. Our waitress was busy stocking bottles behind the bar. All this poor service and there were 4 tables of diners there. I will not be going back.
Went here on a Sunday evening. Not crowded at all and was able to get a table for three people right away. Service was great. Had the Tacos El Pastor, which were very tasty.
