We ordered five wraps, including two falafel wraps for our vegetarian friend. We received five wraps, but only one was falafel, so our vegetarian friend wasn't able to eat her full meal. We called the restaurant hoping we could resolve the problem, and the person who picked up the phone started shouting pretty much immediately, insisting that he had sent us everything that we ordered and that there was no problem. Disappointing experience overall. Also, a small issue, but who sells seven dollar hummus with no pita or anything to dip in it?
Im upset I found this place on the day I fly back to NYC. Was here in the afternoon to get something to hold me down before dinner & the food was delicious. I will definitely make this my first stop when I get back to Buffalo!!!
food is always good. fresh made bread, everything home made. definitely some of the best yemeni food around here
One of the best hidden gems of WNY. I love getting their galaba, falafel, fasolia, agada, and their hummus. Their bread is freshly made in a clay oven basically in front of you. I used to get the galaba over rice all the time but as of the last two or three months, I get the galaba over hummus or fasolia and hummus with a bread. I never used to like hummus when I was a kid but I realized that it was because my mom used to buy the store bought stuff. One day I decided to try it here and I never looked back. I even tried hummus from a different establishment in Amherst that has been around for 20 plus years just to see and even theirs has nothing on Crave Kings hummus. If there was ever a contest to see who has the best hummus in the country, they would have a really good chance of taking the title. Also, if I'm not dipping the bread in hummus, I'm getting pieces of falafel and dipping them in hummus. This place is definitely a top ten Buffalo eatery that not everyone knows about.
Absolutely love this place. They haven’t yet disappointed me. It’s kinda small inside but for what they have to offer, I wouldn’t judge. There Mediterranean food is amazing an beautiful. Amazing service. Very friendly workers. Free tea before or after a meal. Definitely a revisit.
A coworker raised in Jordan recommended this place after expressing my interest in trying Eastern cuisine. Let me tell you... AMAZING. I ordered chicken schwarma and lamb schwarma with rice and naan bread. The food was fresh , meats were tender and the flavor was out of this world. Their hot sauce that the chef included with my meal was homemade and was full of flavor and punch. I will be coming here more often to try the whole menu. The chef was incredibly attentive and a complete sweetheart. Even offered a complimentary tea with my order. The portions are huge and the prices reasonable. Two people can eat out of one meal and the bread was bigger than my face lol. 10/10 recommend
We love to try new food and were really excited about this place but sadly it was underwhelming. Staff was very nice but hygiene was terrible. To the point where you move a salt shaker and there's grime both underneath it and on your hand. Food was pretty good. Maybe it's a takeout place but we ordered two entrees, an appetizer, and water/can of pepsi for $50. I don't feel that the food or hygiene was up to that level. Don't think we'll be back as there are other restaurants with the same cuisine and better experiences. Disappointed.
5/5 stars as I can say the food is great! But they’kinda took longer then they said but great food, they kinda got my food wrong but I can say it’s my fault because I don’t think I told them the right order you should try the food, ??
After leaving the Middle East 3 years ago after a stay of around 3 decades and starting a New Life in USA was absolutely compromising with the Arabic Cuisine, however today after visiting this Restaurant it brought back our memories of “Time Out “ at Abbassiya, Kuwait. The Chef Muneer and his friend Mishal was quiet friendly and showed hospitality to their best possible way. I had ordered Al Faham ( Chicken over Charcoal or Grilled Chicken ) with the traditional Kubbus or Tandoori Roti over Flame alongwith Taboula ( Mix of Cilantro, Onion , Tomato) and also Chicken Kabab over Rice. There were 2 box of Complimentary Salads too provided with each Dish. Very nice experience and guys I am sure you will love it. Order in advance to avoid disappointment in waiting as they are super busy.
Great find! A small place with limited searing, walking distance from the Basilica. Between four people we had a lamb dish, chicken and beef shwarmas and some sweet tea. Food was excellent and everyone very friendly.
