My review is for the cashier at the restaurant, the food itself was great. I was told by the server to wait for 5 minutes for the tomato and onion salsa to get prepared and I was waiting as he told me to. Then the cashier just came to the cash register and told me to pay for the food. I said I was still waiting for the salsa. She started going off on a completely different tangent and saying something about something costs extra. She clearly did not even try to listen to what I was saying. Then the server who had told me to wait told her that I was actually waiting for the salsa. Then she made up a story that they are out of it. And then she had the gall to tell me that I was new here so I misunderstood. No, it was you who misunderstood and who had no patience to listen to a customer who was waiting on your server's instructions. You should have apologized and told me you were out of the salsa, no problem! You don't have to try and blame and get away, please don't behave like this.
Honestly went into this one quite optimistic, but was later brought to reality. After walking in staff was friendly and pictures on the menu screens had me beyond excited to try the food. After receiving my food and taking my first bite however, my 3 tacos 2 beef 1 steak was hard as a rock and i question if this was at all ment to be edible. I even gave a tip and now looking on google to find another place to order food from at 10:18p. ?
Honesty horrible food. Ordered on grub hub. Got 3 beef tacos with stale shells and old see through ice berg lettuce. Beef is like gyro meat which I normally like but this is also dry and stale. Asked for hot sauce on tacos and got none. Chips and quest are $6 and I got almost a full ounce of queso in a completely melted container. … ide rather eat public school food any day. Wish the Italian place was still open instead…. Also reading other reviews on here I see that they pay their customers to post good reviews. Very obvious and shameful…. Also they are not open on Sunday so I have no idea how I got this food on Sunday. Door dash also smashed an order of steak tacos into a pulp but that’s on them somehow. Step it up if your going to be on hertel.
The homemade hot sauce is da bomb.
NO STARS FROM ME FOOD TOOK 30 mins and it was freezing cold and forgot about us wasn’t even that busy was only a couple of people there also it was just me and my man four others came in after us and managed to get their food before us SO ITS A NO FOR ME.
I'm usually picky when It comes to meat, but the chicken here is awesome. The owner is very respectful and he's passionate about his business.-Enrique
