Met some people, made some friends, had some drinks!

Ample parking and the service was okay(slow). Chicken wings spicy was not flavorful. Overall not impressed much.

I really loved it here. They have really great food and also great beers

Steak sandwiches

Twice I have gone and been ignored. Once my fiancé and I sat down at a table and watched the server talk at the bar and very obviously look at us and ignore us. Tonight we went again to give it a second chance (he used to be a regular lunch patron but this was only my 3rd time back there, the first being a decent experience). The first bartender was counting the drawer (which I understand) but then finally asked us for our drink order and did not even offer a menu. We had to finally flag someone down and ask for a menu. The second bartender came in and scooped herself some Mac salad and started making herself a steak sandwich while walking back and forth eating and talking about her vacation tomorrow and spray tan. There were 2 people working a not full bar with nobody at tables and we still couldn’t place an order or even any eye contact. Worst customer service ever. Even my fiancé who loved the steak sandwich refuses to go back. If they had been busy I would have been much more understanding but I’m not understanding to a service worker stuffing her face and ignoring paying customers minutes after walking in the door.

The food here is tremendous (wings are on par with Bar-Bill and they have a great fish fry), but one word of caution - do not expect to be able to order meat on Friday’s during Lent. Long time regulars are probably well aware of this policy but we were caught a bit off guard. Given that they were absolutely packed with people ordering the fish fry, it makes a lot of sense, just something to be aware of.

I don’t go to bars often to consider a place my home bar. However Brunners is my go to home and if I had a choice my only bar. Food fun and friends are always reliable with a comfortable atmosphere. They have always been accommodating for my family and loyal to the community. Thank you for always being there as a place to gather and celebrate life’s moments.

I'm trying to figure out how my friend and I spent over $140.00 (not including tip) at Brunner's yesterday. 2 steak sandwiches, 10 wings and beers. Not doing that again anytime soon.

Food was very good, service was timely but not hovering well worth time and cost

It's definitely a hole in the wall tavern with plenty of local followers who gather around the watering hole. The bartenders/servers were friendly enough. I came because I heard they had under rated good wings and it holds true. $15 for an order of 10 wings seems high. But hey that's the unfortunate world we live in now. Anyways the texture is respectably crispy (not Bar-Bill Tavern perfect, but pretty close). The sauce coating was very good, not drenched, but not finicky either. The size of the wings were good too as they weren't pigeon wings. My Dave Portnoy score is a 7.1.
