Was in Buffalo for the NCAA Frozen 4. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Went there 3 times for breakfast.
A really good price, with the portion size that can keep a fat man happy. Go with the omelettes. Seriously good.

It's a classic sports bar with a classic sports look. It also has something any named Brawler's Back Alley Deli should have, a hearty gut-busting set of menu items. And during one of my hungriest mid-mornings, I had to gut-busters: a cheeseburger and the Buffalo staple, a Beef on Weck. A cheeseburger is just a cheesburger (it was very good) but a Beef on Weck is a meal. Such a simple sandwich can pack so much flavor. Warm roast beef in a terrific au jus, some horseradish and that amazing kummelweck roll. It is simple and delicious. And the one at Brawler's is piled high and deep at a very fair price. I'm happy and ashamed to say I ate both the burger and the Beef in one sitting but I washed it down nicely with their coleslaw and a fruit cup. It is a fine meal for going out on a day of adventure. Brawler's Back Alley Deli is a winner in my book.
