The customer service at this place was off the charts GREAT!! Very helpful in creating a wonderful new menu item ( hopefully ??).The TBZ grilled veggie sub. Grilled onions, green peppers, sweet peppers, banana peppers, & mushrooms on a toasted bun with lettuce & tomatoes.Amazing !! They’ve also got hot slices ready to go for a quick lunch.
To Front Load...I love Bocce's Pizza...I used to work at the Bailey location from High School to my first year in college...The Bailey and Hopkins location have exceptional pizza, and in my opinion the very best pizza in Western NY and one of the best in the Country...To give you a little history about myself so you can understand where I am coming from, I have worked for Multinational Multi-Billion dollar Companies in sales, marketing, training, consulting and financial analysis...I know without question what I am talking about...But in pains me to mention what I now see with the Delaware location...Andrew Carnegie born in Scotland in 1835, arguably one of the richest and greatest Philanthropic contributors to Society mentioned in his Auto Biography..."Sometimes you need to break the boss in order to save the company".Your pizza on Delaware and Chippewa is sub par at best. The pepperoni is cut real thin... The pizza dough looks like it came from a factory, and the sauce is not the same... Also, each slice is perfectly cut unlike the pizza on Bailey and and Hopkins...It looks surreal. You are messing with the secret sauce. When I go to a fast food chain in Kalamazoo Michigan, or San Francisco, California, the quality and experience are relatively the same. You have been successful since 1946, that's nearly 80 years. Why have you neglected your high standards?..I have done some due diligence and my own market research for the Delaware store...My findings are as follows:8 out of 10 people say the pizza isn't that good, and when I asked them would they come back, they said resoundingly no way, and I quote..."I'll just go to Bailey"...That is taking away business from one store and giving it to another, also known as Business Cannibalism. If something isn't done quick you may eventually need to close the doors."""I have read many of your reviews and they are negative. Your responses are rubber stamped and you seem not to care to improve your existing conditions..."""You may have grown to fast with the now 4 locations. Your outlay of capital expenditures is extraordinary. Your share of the market will dwindle over time if the quality of food and service at the Delaware store is not improved. The service is not all that great either. When I visited your location, there were three employees gabbing and they didn't take my order for some 5 minutes. You can eventually lose your new shops especially the Delaware location if you don't act fast...That is a prime location and it would be a shame to lose it...I think that many of your reviews might be a result of your success at Bailey and Hopkins...and don't actually reflect the true experience at your Delaware location.I think the right hand is unaware of what the left hand is doing. For example, I went into the Delaware store for a slice and asked who the owner was and the manager didn't even know. I think the owner needs to take a good hard look at himself and his business. When is the last time he was in the Delaware location.I say this all out of respect and admiration for Bocce's and the owner himself...I know him very well, and he is a good man and will listen to constructive criticism, ""I hope...""If you ever need help from a outside standpoint I am an expert in Consulting and I have put millions and millions of dollars into the hands of major Corporations.I am not that young 16 year old kid that was cooking Za back in 1980 anymore. And, most importantly, I will work for next to nothing,.. not really, just throw me a couple of party pies and a bucket of wings and we will call it even...lolRespectively yours,Bruce W. I go to lots of new pizza places all the time and try their slices. This review is off me going in and getting a cheese slice. I prefer cheese only so it's always nice to find places that serve cheese slices. The prices are kinda high but I'm not gonna let that reflect my review considering the economy right now but almost 10$ for a water, cheese slice and blue cheese is obnoxious for this area. The pizza is definitely exceptionally good though, they have good blue cheese, the place looks cleaner than any pizzeria I've seen in the area(maybe cuz it's new but still) and the counter person was nice, I'll be back
Alway's get a fantastic pie here. Has been my all time favorite since I was a kid growing up in Buffalo. Remember going to Clinton St. Location in the 70's. Now that I live in Jamestown, I alway's get the 1/2 baked pies & bring one home for later. Still just as good as getting one freshly baked there as we did today and had a little picnic at the Outer Harbor, a perfect lunch on a perfect day on Lake Erie. What more could ask for ?
As long as I've lived in Buffalo I've never had Bocce Club. Decided to give it a try today. Ordered a 1/2 which is way more than I expected. Thought it would be 1/2 of a small. Not complaining, I have lunch for tomorrow!Pizza was cooked just right, great crust, good quality cheese and they had black and green olives. (Some places never have green)They lost one star because of canned mushrooms. Canned mushrooms never belong on a fresh pizza. They're tasteless, bland rubbery nuggets of no no.Please switch to fresh, fresh on pizza are amazing. Will definitely be ordering from Bocce again.
Got a half pizza (6 slices) which fed myself, my girlfriend and our 4 year old. Also got a 20oz orange Fanta. Total was $18 something and was close to the best pizza I’ve had in Buffalo.
Hello World,I give this bocce Club four stars because, the food was good my children said my husband liked his taco, but my complaint is the parking it was nowhere to the park, because of the lot so small so all three buildings should ask for more parking that's conducive to their business. Because I was about to pull off and not even go in because I didn't have parking but then I parked in a spot where it said no parking and took a risk of getting a ticket just to get the pizza and taco. The owner think about it have a beautiful and blessed day.
Wow!!! That was the worst pizza I've ever had. I've been eating bocce since I was a kid, first from the original then the one on bailey. I was so excited when I heard there was one opening in the city. A friend tried it first and said it was horrible. So I waited. I ordered it last night and it was gross. I will never go there again. I'll drive to Amherst. At least it's enjoyable there.
Really hate to do this, cuz I love Bocce normally. But, these wings I just got are absolutely awful - in fact - worse than anchor bar. They were chewy and didn’t have any flavor at all. Ate one and stopped
Just ordered Bocce pizza and wings from Grubhub. Wow. This is the best pizza I've ever had. And I'm blown away at how well the wings traveled as they're hot, crispy and delicious. Keep up the great work, Bocce, and THANK YOU!!
