I absolutely love coming to Buffalo. It is a terrific city, as for dining. First time in Adolph's and shocked I'd never been here. You should include it in your calendar. I'm sorry I didn't take photos. First of all, we went for wings having been told they were both good and fairly priced. Listed (mp) on the menu, 20 wings came in at $25. NICE. Big, meaty wings, sauced "medium," they were excellent and could have been more spicy, but Frank's Red Hot was on the table so you can enhance it. We also ordered fries which were hot, properly salted and generous. Adolph's has some Polish specialties so we ordered pierogi (potato-cheese) and they were excellent. Everyone has their own take on wings and Adolph's are LIGHTLY sauced so if you like saucy wings you'll need to ask. The menu is large and everything that we could see looked appetizing and generous. But the place IS a 1930's bar in the Old First Wars so many come here to enjoy a libation. The most difficult thing to find is a properly poured Guinness and - - SCORE!!! The point was settled, at the correct temperature and with a perfect head. Deeply satisfying. Skip airfare to Dublin, it is found here. Wait staff was honestly perfect. Prompt, attentive, friendly, considerate and HAPPY - all the signs of a good place to work, so a good place to be a customer. My new favorite bar.

Some of the best wings I've had in Buffalo. They were crispy and their hot was really hot. The staff was fantastic and the tavern itself felt like old neighborhood spots that aren't really around like they use to be.Great experience overall!
Great pub with great food. Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Sirloin hoagie was out of this world, 10 out f 10. Great wings, excellent beef on weck. Good prices on beer. They have a liverwurst sandwich for crying out loud. Who still has that classic your grandfather ate? Get down there soon before the hordes of foodies make it a new Mecca.
Great atmosphere. Everyone's friendly. Awesome drink selection. Great food. Staff is always smiling.

Food was amazingly delicious. We had pretzels, turkey club, wings and a burger. Everyone was satisfied and I only ate half my club sandwich because it was so huge. it was just as good the next day!
Went on Monday during the snowstorm and couldnt ask for a better place to have a drink - great staff, great drinks and amazing atmosphere. A true first Ward gem!
