Saw this restaurant while visiting the area and decided to try it out. I had the “Eggs Benzatar” from the brunch menu; two poached eggs with smoked salmon, on top of fresh pita bread, served with potato hash and a salad. The food was very good, you could tell the ingredients were fresh and everything was made in house. If you sit by the window, you also get a good view of outside.

This place used to be good, albeit with slow service, but the food has become totally sub par. The eggs on their lox benedict were poached completely hard, and the bean dish was undersalted. I might have said something, but the server didn’t check on us for the full course of the meal.

Flawless. Fresh ingredients used to perfection. A menu that is at the same time traditional and creative. The kebabs and lamb chops are perfect, as are the vegetarian options - wonderful falafel. Friendly staff, attentive and efficient. Recommended!

I love Middle Eastern food and sought this place out because of the reviews. I would order much differently if I were to return. The meat lovers flatbread was a gross dining experience ( : The middle of the pizza was soggy, with way too much cheese/wetness to pick up. The dough for the outer pieces was very dry. Overall, it was bland and barely edible and tasted like it was made with little attention (like what you would expect from a dive bar). I ate half and left. The fries were good and much of the menu looks appetizing, but I put more faith in the kitchen than I should have. I will order the basics if I return. I was though surprised at how unappetizing and dried out the bread tasted.

A neighborhood favorite for Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant has plenty of seating with indoor and outdoor dining available, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have to wait to be seated. I would advise to come early on the weekends to beat the rush but if you find yourself waiting to be seated, at least the food will be worth it.The hummus, lamb segar, any of the kabob meals, and manquoosh flatbread are all amazing. I almost always go with the lamb segar or the chicken kabob meal. The portions will definitely satisfy your appetite (add the harissa sauce for a kick). The only downside to this spot is the lack of staff and ownership when they are at fault. Despite the amount of popularity this place has gotten over the months, the amount of time for the cooks to turn out food is disappointing. I’ve waited over 30-45 minutes for my order on more than a handful of occasions. My order has even gotten “lost” when I dined-in once. With having never been checked on by my original waiter or even seeing him since placing my order, I asked another wait staff about it. The waitress apologized for him and placed my order again—and there goes an additional 30 minutes of waiting…Majority of the times this place is a solid, but I’d go elsewhere if you’re on any time constraints.

Great lunch! Delicious, great price, large tasty portions great patio seating and friendly atmosphere. Thank you

My wife and I were impressed with the quality of the food, atmosphere, and prices here! As you can see we got the French toast, Shawarma, and Eggs Benzatar. Would definitely like to go again to try other items on their menu.
