Guukotsu is my fav ramen in Bklyn. + eel pie + sapporo beer. Enjoy!

I want to place this as #3 on my “Best Ramen in NYC” list. 1st is Cha Menya and 2nd is Ramen Ishida.Za-YaGyutotsu - $18 + $2 (egg add on)Broth - 5/5. BEEF BONE MARROW BROTH. In love with it. A different type of fattiness!Cha shu - 3/5. This is BEEF, not pork. Has the charred and smokiness, tender but chewy. Probably the lowest component of the three.Noodles - 5/5. 17 minutes of thin noodles sitting in the broth, but maintain its firmness. I’m beginning to fully appreciate and embrace thin noodles now.Side notes:Unagi Pie - $10. Flaky and puffy. Sweet eel sauce glaze. Texture of the pastry overpowers the eel.Karaage - $10. Same as mines but crunchier. They definitely added a lot of seven spice to the mayo, which is a plus.Total - $52.26

My new favorite spot in Brooklyn. Quite possibly the best tasting ramen I've ever had. Very cozy atmosphere as well

I have to say I would probably never come in to this ramen store had my Japanese friend not recommend it. The chef is not Japanese and the interior is pretty dated, also not many people in this location so what else can go wrong right? But to my surprise, their ramen is decentLy good. Soup is light but flavorful, chashu is charred and smoky and noodle is fresh and good. Their karaage and unagi pie are also really good. If you are around the neighborhood, please give this store a try.

Perhaps the most disappointing bowl of ramen I’ve had. The portion was very small and didn’t appear at all like the image on their website. The flavor was very unremarkable and the noodles tasted like something from an instant package. This place has great reviews. Perhaps the dine-in experience is much superior?

Was visiting a relative in the area, and decided to get some ramen for dinner. Because of the pandemic, we opted to order take out instead of dining in, as their house wasn't too far away. The staff here are super efficient and had everything ready to go by the time I came by the restaurant to pick it up -- although maybe too efficient, as they were ready about 30 minutes before the arranged pickup time. As a result, all the food was barely even lukewarm when we started eating, but it was still delicious, so I won't dock any stars off for that.Spicy gyukotsu miso ramen: Yum yum yum. My first time trying beef bone marrow broth, and it was absolutely divine. Hands down one of the best-tasting ramen broths I've ever tried. There were hints of miso, garlic, and beef throughout. The spice wasn't very spicy, but it complemented the ramen and toppings well. I'm rather jealous that my relative can eat this practically everyday if they wanted to. 5/5Unagi pie: I've had unagi don before, which I like, but I think this takes the cake. There's slices of marinated unagi & scallions wrapped up in puff pastry, reminding me of a giant curry puff, which is Thai cuisine. It's difficult to split apart for sharing, but it can be done with a knife, albeit it'll be a bit messy. 5/5Chicken karaage: Since the food was cold when I picked it up, the karaage was no longer crispy, unfortunately. However, despite the slightly soggy texture, it was still delicious with the notes of citrus and pepper. The spicy mayo was a good dipping sauce for the bite-sized pieces of chicken.Everything I tried here was excellent, I only wish that the next time I come by, I will get a chance to dine in and enjoy the food how it was meant to be enjoyed. The restaurant was empty when I went to get the food, so I think it's possible to dine here with a small party, even if you have concerns about the pandemic, as it's not too crowded here.

Very delicious and unique gyokotsu broth. The broth is so creamy you would think it's a tonkotsu broth. One of my go to ramen spots.

Great little spot. Beef bone broth is delicious and all the ingredients are really fresh. Unagi pie crust was flaky and light and the eel was so savory. Tan tan ramen was very flavorful with just enough spice.

Most amazingly delicious comfort food ever. Get the short rib ramens. The broth and rib are mind blowing!

We ordered two Ramens - Gyukotsu and Tan Tan. Both were delicious and very filling. Very attentive service. Best ramen spot in the area!
