New location on 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge...nicely done Yemeni themed interior... as usual, the food and service were wonderful...they even have a vegetarian dish...
If there is a chance to read this restaurant with seven stars I would not hesitate to do so ??Yemeni cuisine is one of the most sophisticated delicious and incredible cuisine you could try ??If you like high quality spice and fresh meat this is the restaurant to go to ????This restaurant taste like authentic home made yamani food ????Each time I crave anything Middle Eastern Yamani cafe is by all me the restaurant I ll choose to satisfy this craving ????At Yamani cafe, you should try the liver dish, Fayza, rice and chicken and rice and meat and of course don’t miss that delicious sweet fatta with honey ????Before you leave don’t miss the perfect hot black tea with spice I guess it’s either cinnamon or cardamom it is so delicious ????The service is so fast and since the food is made to order it’s takes decent time ??Parking is not hard in front of the restaurant ??I have been to this place more than 20 times and definitely I recommend you try this perfect authentic cuisine ????
This Yemeni restaurant has one of the greatest broths I have ever tried, starting of with a whole bread. Their food varies a lot, though their meats and coffee consistently hits the spot. Their rice is... Average. They use food dye to mimick the saffron commonly used in the middle east to give color to rice. Hence, only purchase dishes that have a side meat, and don't purchase their rice alone
They don’t know how to cook our traditional food.Unflavored, tases exactly like Burger King and five stars Hotel prices.Thank you and please make sure to bring a real Yemen’s Chef NOT Spanish who just came recently to USA. You just haired him under the table because you don’t want to pay the minimum wages.
Had a wonderful time here! The food was delicious and tasted really fresh. Love the atmosphere and how it's newly renovated. Definitely check this place out if you're in the neighborhood!
Lamb haneeth was good but felt that quantity of the food was less for the price. Give it a try if you want to try something new!
1 experience in Ramadan 4/8 leading to food poisoning. Personally spoke with the managers who used the “it can not be us approach” as there were supposedly no other complaints. All 7 of us haven’t eaten anything else in common other than their Lamb Haneeth. Took me to tell him that I was not arguing and just would appreciate that they investigate the matter and to not brush it off as they are feeding 100s of people who are fasting.I will not be back after what I am currently going through and have missed 2 days of fasting now due to sickness.
Where I’m from the Arabs are mostly from Yemen, this place serves the exact food like those from where I’m from. Good food, I just hope they can give me more rice and I’d give 7 stars.
