Xifu is my favorite little gem in Brooklyn! They have great dumplings and awesome beef noodle soup. Great for lunch and dinner time. It’s a bit pricy but worth it :)

Low cost and truly authentic 'peasant' food ...with all that comes with that.. stong pungent flavors which could make even a spicy food fan blush with some of these dishes. I tried about six different dishes/sides and found that they needed some refinement but it was interesting experience for my 'Western' palatte. My main issue were the cheaper ingredients; some of the beef seemed to be fatty and cheaper cuts. There are many dishes I didn't try, so this review is very myopic but gives an idea of what they offer. I would def. recommend, just be sure what kind of spice you could be committing to. ;-)
Very delicious food! This is authentic Chinese cuisine and not the generic one which we know in Europe. Highly recommend this restaurant!
amazing food! beef noodle soup is a classic, and there's a reason why it's the most popular thing on their menu, but the tomato egg over rice was also super yummy and took me back to my childhood all in all, great place.
I liked the dumplings but the fried chicken was a major let down. I also felt the pan fried dumplings were a little too doughy.
So tasty noodles and service was great!
Fast service and the food is great. I tried the Diao Diao noodles and some pan fried dumplings and recommend both! The dumplings were average but I added a little soy sauce to give it a little more flavor. Highly recommend takeout from here if you’re close!
