Wild Bird was exactly what I needed tonight. Jazzy kinds of blues that twist and turn and catch you in their rhythms until you find yourself wiggling in your chair and eventually you just corkscrew up out of your seat and let the dance take you. Yessir, I didn't *know* that's what I needed, but apparently I sure did. Also! Oh-mah-gawd; do yourself a favor and order the Ruben pizza. Best bread/sauce situation I've ever put in my mouth. I would grow a second stomach in order to be able to fit more of that pizza inside of me. Alas, I am but a one-stomached rube of a being, and so couldn't finish it by myself. Guess I'll just need to come back!

Great drinks, fun vibe, AND live music 7 days a week;what more could a girl want?! ??Be sure to check their IG (rather than the website) for the most up to date info, though, since sometimes food options / set times will vary from week to week.

I highly recommend the mezcal drink with the banana peppers. Excellent jazz music on Tuesdays. The band was so fun. Shoutout to the incredible pianist! Community vibe at this spot.

Love this place. Such a good line up of performers every night of the week, great mezcal cocktails, and a taco place next door for sustenance. The energy and ambiance put you in a good mood.

This place has great vibes and solid acts that come through. You can dance or just hang out with your partner or a group of friends. I came on a day when they didn't have a food vendor there, but they were cool about letting us order delivery from elsewhere. Usually they have a taco truck or pizza. Anyway, great local spot. Highly recommended!

Stop, run, and get yourself the Judy Boots!! Enjoyed a truly magical evening here this weekend, Paul Beaubrun performed and another local jazz band performed before him. Had a hiccup, bartender gave me the wrong drink but it was not entirely his fault. Bar was well staffed 3 or 4 bartenders working, pretty efficient for a busy night. Judy Boots has gin, rose water, and something else that gave it more of an earl grey flavor, we fell in love! Cute eclectic wall art and a random microscope hanging on a wall shelf, other cool local art on the walls. Lucky us, the taco truck outside had the best birria tacos. Unfortunately I forgot the name but it was bomb.

One of the coziest spots for live music in Central Brooklyn. 2 acts every night 7 days a week. Bringing in some of the best musicians in the city. It gets pretty packed on weekend nights, but not without reason - the dance/party bands they get always know how get the crowd on their feet. (And the drinks ain’t so bad either!)

An incredible music venue dedicated to showcasing local NYC musicians nightly. The atmosphere is casual but the music is at an exceptional all time high level.David Linard‘s trio on Wednesdays is perhaps the most important and thrilling jazz residencies in NY presently-Every experience I’ve had at wild birds with friends and family has been incredible and can’t recommend this club more.
