There is a separate "late night" menu that's much shorter than the dinner menu so unless you're already aware or order something that happens to be on both you can get a bit tripped up when it's time to order. The garlic fried chicken was good, but could have been a bit crispier since it was getting sauced anyway. The spicy shrimp tempura + avocado roll was also okay, but definitely felt like there was a high premium being paid for a roll that could've been gotten elsewhere. The outdoor seating is nice but is also a bit restrictive as far as walking space is concerned.

Stopped here early, 11:30am, for a quick bite. Angelo, my server, provided perfect attention and suggested a special that included salad when I ordered 2 vegan rolls. Pumpkin and Avocado rolls were yummy and Angelo asked if he should inform the chef (Of course!). Love ordering sushi. It’s made to order and very fresh. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Lovely vegan ? options.

Japanese fried chicken, miso soup, sushi (salmon, yellow fin, tuna and scallop) with Wasan Brooklyn salad.Very fresh fish and veggies. Rice and chicken both cooked wonderfully. Staff is super nice and really cool vibe.Probably the best Japanese food I've had outside of Japan. Love this place. Thank you!

4/25/22 first time here.Very nice and clean, very friendly service from Miki. The food was good. I had salmon roll, yellow tail and jalapeno roll and a bbq chicken bun. Everything tasted good and fresh. I'll be back to try other items. Thanks -

I’m Japanese American and this is my favorite Japanese restaurant. If they ever closed I would cry. My favorite is the bento box with grilled salmon collar. Japanese food is so much more than just sushi and ramen snd Wasans menu gives you all the authentic details.

service is awesome their ramen is great as well :)) would recommend

Delicious ramen and I loved the Uni Lover appetizer, was really nice to stop in on a cold night and warm up with a very rich bowl of soup.

このレストランは1番お寿司のブルックリンです。Take it from me, this an authentic Japanese dining experience, I would give 10 stars if I could…perfect place for a first date. The woman who sat us was very kind, and I enjoyed practicing my limited conversational Japanese.

The bento box here is delicious. I got the eel. It’s plated beautifully and tastes even better — like a mix of soothing home cooking and restaurant flair. Highly recommmend. Can’t wait to come back and try the udon or ramen.

My go to place for ? in Brooklyn!!Price is reasonable with great quality.Corn agedashi is a must try!
