Best fusion spot, Korean wings with a southern twist to it. I ordered their wings which were a hit and the sesame french fries, far out best combination ever!! Can't stop talking about it. If this place was by my house i would eat here 24/7
Only got the popcorn chicken as a snack (so this isn't a very complete review), but it was solid. I'd say the chicken itself was nicely crisped and less salty than other fried chickens I've had, so the dipping sauce played a big role. The hot honey wasn't really my thing, but I loved the kimchi aioli
huge crispy deliciously spicy korean fried chicken wings, I’m absolutely obsessed with this place. 3 wings is more than enough for one average adult, and an order of the korean wings comes with delicious fries too! we also got mac and cheese (must order, it’s too good), kimchi (great to cut the heaviness of everything else!), and cornbread (so good, the herb butter is everything). I will be back and I’ll make sure I’m starving when i arrive next time!
Fast delivery! Everything else was just disappointing. Flavors all seemed muted, popcorn chicken was dry, wing sauce was only “spicy” because they dumped chili flakes on top. The sauce was just one note (honey sweetness). There are better wings and better fried chicken to be found in the area.
So gooood!! Crispy, sticky, wings and super fresh salads. Will definitely be back for more!
We’ve been eating at Wangs for a while now and have only had great experiences. From the care put into the food to the friendliness of the staff, Wangs always comes through. I really love their hearty take on the Bahn Mi with a strip of crispy, fried chicken. The savory crunch plays off the more traditional Vietnamese filling.Their sides are not to be missed; reinterpretations of southern comfort foods with tangy and delightful Asian ingredients. The chicken’s always been crisp and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside.Plus, you can’t go wrong with their brick of cornbread and selection of house made dipping sauces.
The best fried chicken in Park Slope! Love that they've kept their prices low and even increased their portions (pretty sure they doubled that glorious scallion cornbread!)—while other spots have gotten stingy. Also: Not sure what's up with the bots below trying to review-bomb this incredible, POC, woman-owned place. Although, if I were a local competitor and had actually tasted Wang's FC and their world-class sides: Chinese sausage collard greens, sumptuous kimchi mac—to name a few—I'd be nervous, too. ;)
Beautiful presentation and the chicken is cooked to perfection. BUT it is a 100% miss on flavor. The spicy wings and their potatoes are the best of the menu but even that doesn't compare to much cheaper spots out in Flushing or Lower East Side. The whole fried chicken and mac and cheese were severely lacking. Salt saved the mac and cheese and we tossed the heavily soy seasoned greens, but that chicken needed much more. I've been in the area for 6 years and don't understand why this place is so popular but would bet it's because it's pleasing to the Caucasian palate. I gave it two chances and both times regret not ordering elsewhere.
The wings are the best thing there. 6 is plenty for one person! Coleslaw was solid too. The sandwich and popcorn chicken can be skipped
Literally the most insanely delicious wings these lips have ever touched. The Mac is straight fire as well and don't even get me started on the beautiful chef responsible for all of it....?It's a don't miss.
