Third time coming here while visiting Industry City. The first two times, the service was pretty bad, with servers constantly messing up our orders even though there was only 3 tables…HOWEVER, it seems that Wakuwaku has redeemed itself, and the food + service + atmosphere + drinks are better than ever! I wouldn’t say it’s as good as Yokocho Village, but it satisfies the cravings.Everything is delicious, especially the deep fried tempura corn with matcha salt. The skewers were delicious and the Saba Mackerel was amazingly soft and not fishy (not pictured). The potato salad surprisingly had a strong taste of wasabi (not my taste) but my partner liked it! For drinks, the Okairi Old Fashioned was veryyy good, props to the bartender!TIP: If you’re ordering a lot of deep fried or greasy foods, I recommend ordering a cup of green tea to balance out the flavors and grease!

Great Ramen and the sake we had was really smooth.

Our bartender John was fabulous! He made amazing and delicious cocktails for us. Will definitely return!

completely unexpected gem in industry city. everything we had was amazing and you have to understand that when you’re at a legit izakaya, so everything is made with genuine time, care, and authenticity. if you’re not used to that or unfamiliar with the culture, this might not be the place for you- which might explain some of the bad reviews. drinks were amazing and so was the food! all for a wildly affordable price especially when considering the quality of each small plate. a cute date night spot overall

Nice place to hangout with friends at bar. Bartenders are so nice , and cocktails are really good. Food at bar is good . Nice ambiance and location

Amazing food and amazing staff-a must visit. Be brave and try things you normally wouldn't try, you won't be disappointed.

The food here was delicious! I especially loved the corn tempura. It was my first time trying chicken gizzard and cartilage. It was good but the portions were small. They also have a small flavor variety of cotton candy that they can make there! My cousin (pre-k and elementary) really enjoyed it.The menu was online but, i didn't have much service inside so, i wasn't able load it.

Everything was amazing, from the service, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the mega delicious food. The grilled smelt fish and fried garlic potatoes with cod roe sauce are addictive.

Amazing, Quick and Tasty. You can review menu, choose what you want to order and pay right from your phone here. Menu very descriptive and with pictures. All dishes were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. A lot of indoor and outdoor seating.

The tonkatsu cury was very good. They built a very nice Japanese village too.
