Came in for breakfast with the family - three adults, one child. They are hi-tech which is OK - as a Software Engineer, I am not allergic to technology but it's somewhat bothersome and time consuming to deal with their implementation so we skipped the online menu access process and just ordered four very basic "dishes", the fanciest being a burrito. No drinks. The "avocado sandwich" turned out to be two small slices of bread with a couple of slices of avocado and a hint of salad on the side. Another dish contained the same slices of bread with two halves of an egg and the same hint of salad. Plus three coffees. We did not bother to check prices because no matter what they were we could afford afford them but (BUT!!!) $171+ check - yes, ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE US DOLLARS WITH CENTS - was a joke, and not a funny one. From now on, "abuse" is spelled "vineapple café". If you decide to go there, treat this place as a hospital or a car dealership - expect an arbitrary and unreasonable bill for a questionable at best product. Do NOT expect any degree of business integrity.
Loved this quaint little restaurant. We went in for breakfast, had some amazing food, loved the avocado ? toast, and the terrific coffee's. Wish we would have been in town longer to be able to come back again before we left. Will definitely stop there again next time we are visiting.
I got one order of crostini ($8 + tax and tip) as takeout and was pretty disappointed with what I received. To begin with, it was just bread (not toasted) and the arugula looked like it was just thrown in the box. As you can see from the photo, it looked messy, which I would understand if the box had moved around a lot, but I picked it up right from the cafe employee. It was also a very small amount of food for almost ten dollars- maybe 4 or 5 bites? I am all for supporting small, local businesses, but not when this is what I receive.
Kind service, fair prices and food was great. Nice place to catch up with friends. (Walking is a little confusing but tables are all the way to the back)
Pretty good cafe and cute coffee cups, but the inside was kinda dark with a huge tv. Wish the lighting was a bit softer and more plants though that's my personal taste :p
Vineapple cafe was a great place to stop for a drink and pastry. The staff was very friendly and the outdoor seating was nice. My morning bun was buttery and delicious and the matcha latte was perfect as well. After 3PM all the pastries are 50% off which I think is awesome! I would def come again.
Previously a coffee shop with couch seating, now an updated cafe with coffee to go and a really good dine-in menu.
I went there to work and started with coffee, knowing that I was going to be there long enough to order lunch and snacks. It was 11am and the waiter would come every five minutes checking (pushing me) to order more items and telling me that at 4pm, I would have to move from table. The place was pretty empty. Staff weren't wearing face masks. Even when I was in line to the bathroom, I got asked again to order. At 3pm, after I ordered lunch, snacks, coffee... I was told that "you were here the whole day"–which was def not true. I also overhear other women of color complaining about the service in the table next to me. After that person clocked out, I was left to stay in the same table as long as I needed. Rude staff, felt pretty hurried and unwelcome as a woman of color...The food was descent. Nothing extraordinary.
Nice Saturday brunch with a really good cup of coffee. Great vibe. Avocado toast was particularly good as was the breakfast burrito.
It was pretty packed when we came for brunch, but they were able to get us a table. Excellent food: very cool spin on the Eggs Benedict, great Shakshuka (a tiny bit too spicy to my taste though) ? and the Cinnamon Crunch French Toast you absolutely must try ?. Brunch cocktails were decent size and properly spiked. ?? Good service and friendly staff. ??
