I went there to get legume ak lambi for my Haitian wife and she was a little disappointed because they didn't include the plantains as they USUALLY do. When she called about it she was told they ran out but it was only 3.30pm and they charged full price. She thought they could've taken off a dollar or two but the lady kept insisting the price is $15. I don't think that was fair for a cash paying good customer. How you gonna charge full price and YOU ran out of food?
Food is home style cooking, great menu and friendly staff
It's ok, when I don't cook at home I rather buy food there than some other Haitian restaurants
I went to this restaurant. The service is really bad. They put a loud speaker in the dinning area and listening to haitian news. Their don't have respect for customers. If you want to go a Venus go to the location that they have in Rogers Ave.
I was referred to this restaurant by a good friend. I ordered the vegetable rice with legume and conch. Everything was very tasty and delicious and the conch was nice and soft. The prices are very fair. I highly recommend.
Best Haitian restaurants in canarsie
The fish is delicious. Love the daily Haitian cabbie debates.
The owner only cares about making your experience better. This guy thinks differently than the other restaurant owner in the community.
The food was so delish... Thank you for such warm welcome
I’d like to be brief, as I have already wasted enough of my time here. Here are some examples: 1. It does not take nearly 30 minutes to wait for DRINKS 2. Guests should not have to ask various people to get their attention for basic services, such as: asking for a fork; asking for water; asking for more butter; asking for the most basic services I can keep going, but refuse to continue to waste my time. The food was disgusting.
