On Sunday 24th July around 4:30pm my husband bought 1 large and 1small peas and rice with oxtail. When we sat down to eat all we got was oxtail bones withVERY little meat. I was so annoyed and I called 5 times to voice my disappointment but no one answered the phone. I gave them 1 star, however they deserved 0 star for serving those meals to people. If there is no more oxtail say you don't have before taking people money and serving that.
Great food but check you food before you leave they gave me 3 wrong orders in the past. Next day I went back and the changed it to the correct order
The workers are unprofessional, rude and never have mask on there face. If you are not friends with the workers you end up waiting 30 mins or more for your food. The owner seems to okay with her staff being unprofessional, sarcastic and rude to paying customers. Ms. Vee you need train your workers and get new professional staff. So update return again to give another chance. Reisha needs to be taken off the register. Every customer she was rude with expect for a one man. Who got his food before the 6 people on line he meet in the store. Do not bother ordering on the phone. You still wait. Ms. Vee restaurant is going downhill. Been coming here for a while and recently the food has gone down. Came recently and bought two medium rice and curry/ stew dishes and they werent prepared well. There was basically no meat at all in this goat curry and all bones (excuse this picture- ate a bit and turned it to check). In the stew chicken, there was no gravy, just chicken and rice. Wasted $22. Won’t be coming here again, unfortunately because the owner is sweet. However, the staffs are extremely rude even though the owner is right there.
I bought stew ? chicken ?? for my friend and they said it was 'bussin' basically it was good...And di Jamaican lady who works there looks like a natural browin 'atho she bleach' it looks natural ? raaaaaaa
Food is good here....n their Juices on point....but I was not happy with my Stew Peas order....barely had meat....n no dumplin...smhis it cause it was a small n it was evening time??? Jerk Pork was tasty also....
Listen and listen good. PAY ATTENTION WHEN PEOPLE ORDER on the ticket through the POS system. I don’t wanna hear the excuses. Me as a matter of fact. When I spend my money I need what I want. Why can’t YOU guys focus on what’s needed for customers. It’s not that hard. I’m a customer here and you guys messed up a simple order I placed. Get it right! Guess what? My carrot juice didn’t show up in my bag. SMH!
The food was good. The staff was courteous. The only thing is when you walk in there is no displayed menu, so you have no idea how much you'll be spending. Another thing, the line is out of order. Everyone is standing everywhere and you can't tell who already ordered and who is waiting for their order unless you ask person after person after person. That could cause a problem or delay for people who are visiting first time. Otherwise, so far, so good.
Learn to answer the phone!!! No one should be calling for 15+ minutes plus to find out what items come with. Like saltfish at $8, what does it come with, boiled dumplings, fried dumplings or nothing at all aside from saltfish. If you do not have pictures of the meals, be clear!!!
