This is one of those rare coffee shops in NYC that has all of the following: good espresso, spacious seating, wifi, plugpoints and sunlight!
The Good: Nice space. Staff was friendly the few times I've been there. Olive oil orange cake was fabulous. The Not So Good: They no longer make the olive oil cake. Very poor espresso, weak and acidic. Possibly the worst that I've had. They incorrectly charge sales tax on pastries. Croissants, scones, turnovers etc. are not taxable unless they are put on a plate or they are heated up. Not when they're put in a bag to take out.
Variety is by far the best cup of coffee in New York. This location has the same amazing coffee as their other locations. It also has the same delicious pastries, and is just as beautiful.
The staff were very friendly and the coffee was spot on.
Coffee is great as expected but pastries are delicious, too- try the zucchini muffin!
4.5 StarsA well designed addition to the neighborhood. My cappuccino was excellent. Good balance, color, foam. Spacious and inviting. Ambient music, not offensive. Somebody cares about the music, four decent two-way bookshelf speakers wall mounted in the corners. Very solid coffee shop. I would rate it 4.5 stars only because 5 would have to be the very best I ever tried.
Great coffee and music; and one of the best views of the 7th Ave for the cosy, rainy days.
Best coffee shop in Park Slope.
Great coffe and ambiance. Good place to get some work done.
I’ve been excited to try this spot out! Beautiful natural lit caffe with sun room, good latte, and solid music… however the wifi was down :/ I hope to have better luck next time!
