One of my favorite ice cream shops in the city!
Hands down our favorite ice cream in the city. Honeycomb is divine and their strawberry is so darn good too. Their toppings Tuesdays are super fun and well priced.
Usually Van Leu is top notch, but tonight’s ice cream was terrible. My praline butter cake ice cream was a powdery mess that was inedible. Super disappointed and won’t come back to this one.
Ice cream is worth it, but I’ve gotten inconsistent service here. Sometimes they were good and tried to get as many orders done as possible, others they were slow about it. Worth waiting the line, but worth dubbing if it looks like a force.
This off course is my favorite ice cream brands in the city... Having both dairy and non-dairy flavors as well as monthly specials, sundaes, coffees and more!Cute store with sitting area and normally give tastings but with covid they had stopped and now it's only one per customer which really sucks.I wish they would also make the waffle cones and cookies vegan so everyone could have them!Overall, absolutely delicious and I love it!
Good ice cream! The small cup has a well served portion, no need to go bigger if you are on a budget.
I love love love their ice cream! My fav is Pistachio and PB honeycomb with cashew milk!
Must try ice cream in Nyc!
Long line but worth the wait.Delicious ice cream! Many flavor options. You can try them before you pick what you want.I liked the earl grey but I wanted to get a seasonal one.Vegan pumpkin cinnamon roll$6.48
I’ve never paid so much for such mediocre ice cream ? they also got my order wrong, but because we were talking through masks and I got whipped cream on top, I didn’t notice until I had my first bite a block away. There was a long weekday evening line so I didn’t bother going back, but I was also underwhelmed by the whipped cream, so I just didn’t have a great experience. I love ice cream and I’ve had a Van Leeuwen pint that I liked before, so my heart hurt a little from such a disappointing scoop experience. Next time I’ll just get the pint instead of paying 2/3 as much for just the one scoop + whipped cream + tip.
