Omg. This place is amazing.. sushi was on point so delicately delicious. The journey was completely worth it.. get the 58$ special ..yea I know .. but it’s worth it..
This place is a hidden gem. Chef’s suggestion Omakase is a must-try. Sashimi set is high quality. The restaurant is small and cozy!

I’d eat this every day if I can afford it. Even the rice is spot on. SUCH GREAT QUALITY fish. How they handle each sushi piece is amazing with their torching, knife skills etc. They give you real grated wasabi with the sushi set but not the rolls. It’s quite pricey when I do the sushi set and get it delivered… but I still do. This is the only solid quality real sushi in the neighborhood.
The best Chef's Sushi prepared in the whole New York to say the least. Must come and try. Also the Ramen here is outstanding ??

This place is insane. Best sushi in the borough (at least that I've tried). As a Pratt student, super convenient as well. If you're looking for a top tier sushi spot in Clinton Hill, you've found it here.
Their sushi tastes much better than most places, the fish is fresh and well prepared. Their takoyaki is incredible and reminds me of takoyaki from Japan. Their ramen is incredible, too. They brine their egg, adding to the flavors of the ramen.
Sushi is great, but my friends ordered ramen, and the noodles in the ramen are all sticked together and make them hard to eat. The sushi is too pricy in my opinion.
Quality sushi and other items at reasonable prices. Flavorful preparations. We have eaten many meals from U-gu, always very happy.
