Babyyyy! Where do I begin. We used Top Tier Catering for my baby shower in 2021 and my guests raved about the food for weeks after! Saying the food is “good” doesn’t do it justice! It is AMAZING and arrives piping hot and ready to serve. I have to get a plate early because there’s never any food left at the end of my events. We just used them again for my daughters 1st Birthday this past weekend and again, the food was impeccable! Those Henny Wings, that mac attack and garlic mashed potatoes - so good! My guests really go bananas off the baked ziti too. This place is consistent and that’s what I need because I don’t like looking for new places to use. The service is just as great. They are friendly and on time with delivery. I can’t sing their praises enough! They have a lifelong customer in us. We won’t go anywhere else. You can now stop looking for another place to cater your event! This is it! This is the one! - Jenae
Yesterday was my birthday party, which I used Top tier to cater macoroni salad, potato salad, fried chicken, and there honey garlic wings. When I say that food was delicious, make me want to slap my mama. My guest loved every bit of the food from Top Tier to the point they all was talking about either ordering for just a regular or for catering there events.Thank you Top Tier, your food was a blessing to me and all the guest who tasted your food. What was left at the of my party I told every one to help themselves. They were like voltures. Lol Top Tier will be seeing me in the future.
I wanted to enjoy this food so much. I get excited about soul food, however, I was not pleased at all.I ordered the henny wings and the chicken looked as if it didn't sell, they refrigerated it and then reheated it in the microwave. The skin was very soggy and honestly, I was grossed out. The sauce on the chicken had good flavor but the chicken itself was flavorles.The yams were good...and so was the peas and rice.The baked mac was okay. They overcooked the noodles so they were too soft for my liking.
The food was yummy. The jerk wingettes were tender and the meat was able to just fall off the bone. It had the right spice level for me. The mac and cheese with the yams are so delicious! The garlic honey shrimp are flavorfilled. I finished the shrimp and kept the sauce in the bowl to use it for lunch the next day. The cheese grits are perfect. It was a great experience. The portions are good. I ate for 3 days. They had to make fresh turkey wings for us, so our order took longer. They gave us some samples of their other food since we were new customers with a longer wait time (that's how I tasted the grits) and they did not disappoint at all.
So i ordered mac and cheese and 6 fried wingetts and the wingetts was really good, my mom and my sister liked it and i can’t really say the same about the mac and cheese . It looks good from the pictures but the taste is awful, it taste like it barely has cheese on it and it barely taste like it has seasoning on it, it just taste like plain ole mac and cheese that you boil. this would’ve got 5 stars if the mac and cheese was good tbh I think it just threw me off.. ( i don’t have pictures of the wingetts but it was really good )
Gr8 food picked up for grub hub and the owner gave me a sample and I was hooked. Ordered dinner the same night and it was gr8.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FRIED LOBSTER TAIL SPECIAL!! Whoo baby!! I was lucky enough to catch an IG post about these amazing looking fried lobster tails and we just couldn't resist. I walked right on over and there was a line of about 5 people waiting outside, really due to the social distancing rules they have in place. Then I noticed there were like 4 cars double-parked waiting for orders too, which is a great sign. This neighborhood spot must be popping! I ordered 4 fried lobster tails and didn't wait that long for my order, also not all of them were for me lol. Even though after all was said and eaten I could have had 2 lobster tails myself. YUMMM! We also ordered mac&cheese, a very good pairing with the fried lobster tail. The mac&cheese was creamy, soft, and delicious. We were pretty full afterwards, the lobster + mac&cheese was exactly what we hoped and dreamed it would be! We surely passed out on the couch afterwards in complete food loving bliss! :D
Food is great. The customer service unfortunately needs A LOT of work .. ? smh
I have ordered from this establishment multiple times & today I was highly disapointed. I was not only disatisfied with the order but also with the owners response to my disatisfaction. I ordered a half pan of mac n cheese & a half pan of potato salad. I received a full half pan of potato salad $45 & less than half a pan of mac & cheese $50 & it looked dried up. I took a picture, called & asked to speak to the owner, someone I spoke highly of in the pass, as he being a young black entrepreneur, with what seemed to me a successful business. He answered said he was the owner. I explained my purchase told him that I received 1/2 of a 1/2 pan of mac n cheese, He asked did you order the large pan or the 1/2 pan, I responded the half pan. He said that's right. I asked is this the way you fill the half pan with just half mac n cheese (as you can see its less than half the pan) he said again, yes that's right. Mean while my 1/2 pan of potato salad was a full 1/2 pan. I told him this was not worth $50 & I will never order this again. His response was "Thats fine". That is not good customer service. Again I was very disappointed becaused I've used this business when I did my grandaughters sweet 16 and I order food frequently from this business. Its a shame!
The owner was very patient and pleasant with me as I made my selections for my Mom’s birthday party. He made sure that I had the correct selections for an event for a mature crowd. I look forward to your tasty dishes on the date of the event!
