Spectacular. Had the Brisket Masaman and it blew my mind. Everything else was stellar as well such as the fried chicken, Tom Yum Soup and sliced flank steak. This place is insanely delicious.
Tong was featured in the Michelin 2021 guide; I happened to stop in for a drink before going rock climbing next door. My review is ONLY about the service, ambience and the cocktail. The decor is “comfort” industrial with concrete floors and walls, gold flecked accents throughout, exposed brass piping everywhere, wood panels, and farmhouse lighting; overall very on brand for bushwick. The service was impeccable- the hostess sat me at the bar right away, the waitress came immediately to ask if I wanted food ( I didn’t) and the bartender took my drink order quickly. The drink took a whole to make but was fantastic (I got the La Vie en Rose) which was sweet cognac/whiskey cocktail.
Went on a Saturday night around 6pm with no reservations and was seated promptly. Apps--Would highly recommend the Hoy Jor starter, super crispy delicious wrapper with pork insides 5/5.The Goi Neu was honestly not enjoyable compared to Hoy Jor, although the taro crisps included were great 3/5.Mains --Kee Mao amazing flavour and noodle texture 5/5.Khao soi good if you like curry, not impressive though. The chicken drumstick tasted like it was cooked separately, unfortunately. 3/5Drinks 3/5 they were fine, not greatKinda mixed impressions about tonight, some were outstanding and others were meh. Ultimately would recommend giving this place a try.

Came here for Valentine’s Day. Great food. We love the crab meat fried rice (Khao Pad Poo), it’s full of crab meat and the taste is so delicious.⚠️VERY SPICY⚠️If you want some real Thai spicy, this is the place. I usually can handle Tom Yum Goong, but theirs made me almost cried? I enjoyed Naem Khluk, but also very spicy.
Great drinks and great food! My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on a double date with family. We were visiting but they'd been here before. All of the drinks were tasty and worth the money because you could actually taste the liquor. The Kor Moo Yang was so good my boyfriend and I got 2 orders. The other couple had the tuna zab so I can't comment on its taste but they did state it was a little less cooked/seared than the previous time they had it. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, both guys ate their entire servings of khao soi. I had the fried rice and added chicken so it was chicken and shrimp and it was delicious. The shrimp were huge and I enjoyed the meal and had some to take home (I did ask for soy sauce on the side). One downside was that the tables weren't too far apart so we were kind of close to other parties. The hostess also checked ID's and vaccination cards upon entry. Our server was prompt, attentive, and answered all my questions.

Incredible restaurant. Everything is extremely flavorful and delicious. Really not that expensive considering the variety and quality of food you can get. Definitely recommend going here with friends so you can try as many things as possible. Great ambiance.
