This was a great place to drink a beer while watching a toddler play with the rocks in the backyard beer garden area. Came here on a Father’s Day Sunday and there was a wedding going on for a few hours, so we came back. And got a great seat outside. Ordered some group food, which was all better than expected. Mexican street corn. Meatballs. Pigs in a blanket. All great. No kids after 7pm. We left at 7:15pm, and they weren’t jerks about it.
I reckon I'd be more suited to reviewing Threes if I had a deep interest in and discriminating taste for beer. Me, I tend to like beer just fine as long as it's decent. So, I can't really say much one way or another for Threes' beer.The meat hook, on the other hand, I can talk about. The spicy chicken sandwich is good, but I wish the fries were cooked a little more consistently. You're definitely going to get some that have entirely too much bite, like they were left in the cooker twice as long as they should be.Threes is usually pretty busy. They have a nice outdoor space that can be pretty chill in the afternoon or evening during the summer, although I'd recommend you wear bug spray.
This cool, tavern-y spot in Park Slope not far from Atlantic Center and Barclays has solid food, good ambiance, strong drinks, and solid, personal service. Nice dark vibe, with the feeling of a dive but the quality you want from a finer place. A loud buzz, even on a Wednesday night, with a full bar and tables but not too crowded. Fully staffed for quick service and attentive help. Loud but chill. A sweet spot for a toast.
Excellent fish food restaurant. I got the tuna burger and my cousin ordered 3 fish tacos with a side order of Brussels sprouts. The tuna burger was incredibly tasteful, juicy and moist but not having a “fishy” flavor, indicating the freshness and that it was made on premise. The tacos were very salty but other than that cooked properly. The Brussel sprouts were soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside. Very nice place indeed. And their beer is also decent.
Had a great time here for a work event. We used the private tented yard and the staff was extremely gracious from the events manager to the bartender and waiters. The food was great as well, everyone especially enjoyed the Arancini and Chicken Sliders provided by The Meat Hook. I'd definitely recommend if you need an event space.
We hosted our holiday party at Threes in Greenpoint to great success. The space is beautiful, the staff is really easy to work with, and the food options are great. The bartenders make very good cocktails in addition to beer, and that was a big hit with our guests. Would highly recommend hosting an event there in one of their private spaces.
I had my wedding at Threes and I could not have asked for a better experience. The outdoor space made for a such a special/intimate wedding space. Our guests also enjoyed t the indoor bar area, which is also available to rent, and of course the delicious beer and food. While Threes does not specialize as only a venue location/wedding space, their Private Events Manager (Kelly) and events team were incredible (willing to answer all my stressed out COVID bride questions) and helped us plan the amazing wedding we wanted in less than 5 months!
We worked with Three's to host my brother and sister in laws baby shower and they did an incredible job. Not only was the venue affordable and PERFECT for our size party, the waitstaff and bartender were attentive and lovely to work with. On top of that, when we wanted to extend for an extra hour, they were super accommodating and let us do so at a very reasonable surcharge. Can't recommend them enough.
Cannot speak highly enough of the experience our team had at an event we hosted at Threes. Excellent service through and through, willing to work with us with the budget we had, and great communication from beginning to end. Will absolutely come back again both with my friends and with any work event need that comes up.
I can't speak highly enough of Threes as an event venue. The whole experience was seamless, the staff was so attentive and thoughtful, everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful night. If you're looking to host an event in Brooklyn, Threes is the place.
