As a member of the Burger king's club since 1992, I approve of the fries at the Rookery. They're steak cut, the best kind. The fried comes with a spicy, creamy sauce; however, I forget the name of it. We were welcomed by the bartender, Brian or Bryan; either way - great bartender. On Monday nights they have $5 mussels, highly recommended. The drinks got us lit. The place has a large front patio that can fit a large crowd.OH and we finished off with fried oreos.

If I can give zero I would .. Only 3 pieces of fried pickles for $8.. absolutely not .. should have also wrote it on the menu that they only serve 3 pickles ! What a laugh!

The Rookery has a wonderful rounded bar and a few booths as well as phenomenal outdoor seating for the warmer months. With a great selection of bites and an even greater selection of whiskeys and the like. (Have an High West American Prairie or an Eagle Rare Single Barrel)The food was fresh and tasty. Came out fast. The menu leans English pub grub. The deviled eggs were not over done and the micro greens were tasty. I also had the Moules Frites which were a large portion and had rich flavor.I am going to have to try the brunch!

Such a great neighborhood bar. The food here is amazing and the atmosphere is always fun. With all the bars that are now here in the neighborhood this one is a staple. Definitely can’t go wrong.

This place is fantastic I’ve been going for about 31/2 years, has a great atmosphere and I often go at lunch time and it has a really nice enclosed garden, friendly people and the food is great, overall a nice local place where you can sit at the bar and relax,

Love the little neighborhood pub, came here for a quick drink before theater. The space is nicely decorated. It's quiet on a winter week night. Just some folks sitting by the bar. The guys behind the bar are friendly. Drinks are delicious and reasonable price. There are some signature cocktails and some draft beers. Some bar snacks available.

Pretty cool cozy atmosphere. Food was good except my friend's wings weren't completely cooked, but they took care of the situation.

Quirk-ery everywhere.I’ve been to The Rookery 2 times the last few weeks. Both times there was an oddly mingled crowd, with some quirky bar staff. Totally dig it!!On my afternoon adventure, we got some apps. The Brussels sprouts are quintessentially buttered with a lively kick from the peppers. If you get the fries, 100% get the aioli! I enjoyed the garlic aioli on my Brussels sprouts too. The deviled eggs were def my favorite out of the 3 samples we tried, whipped to perfect consistency. At 7pm certain wines were half off! We started too early to partake, but I’ll definitely be back. When I came on a late night adventure, it was just my party and One other on the patio. Was very chill for 2am on a weekend in Brooklyn, and I was ok with that! Felt like a hidden gem I probably shouldn’t be boasting about…..The set up is cute, horseshoe bar with a great deal of booths inside. Outside is a patio decorated with a plethora of greenery, courted with dainty awnings over each table. An ideal date night spot, a nook to quietly read a book with a stiff bev, or maybe a convenient place for intimate conversation…. Could totally be a rager too, the place is your pallet!

Bring back the fried Oreos!! Good vibes, good food. But those Oreos… a crowd favorite. They deserve a return

Great experience, took my folks here because my dad lives Widow Jane and he had a great time.
