I had high hopes for this spot but unfortunately it just fell short in terms of the food. Good things first: it wasn’t crowded and we had no problem getting a table for brunch on a Saturday. The Bloody Mary was actually solid— tasted strongly of pickle but not in a bad way. They do their own house mix and it wasn’t overwhelming. The food, however, was not very good. My partners food (scramble with fried oysters) came out cold. Not sure what happened there but bottom line wasn’t okay. My chicken and waffles arrived and I must say I’ve never seen chicken wings be the chicken of chicken and waffles. So disappointing, especially since the breading was also not flavorful and not crispy at all. They were also served whole which made eating them a bit more difficult than you really want. The potatoes were okay, at least edible. Same with the andouille sausage. Overall do not recommend the food and hope the pictures help!

Physically beautiful. It was nice having outdoor dining options (on the street or in the back) but to be honest, the food was mid. We came for dollar oysters, and I think this place made me realize I’m good on dollar oysters forever. The quality just wasn’t great but what did I expect? Then, unfortunately, the tacos were whack. The only good thing we had were fries and we only got about 12 in the whole order. Probably won’t be back for food. But maybe for a drink if I’m in the area.

Great atmosphere, service was a lil slow but that's expected when you order 40+ oysters at a $1 each during HH...

Nice relaxing place to eat. The calamari was excellent, I wish the salmon was moist, a little dry. However the mashed potatoes and greens was good with a little salt. Service was nice and friendly, not as attentive as my cousin and I would have liked. She was serving and making drinks, I guess she didn't have enough time. I had to wave to her behind the bar for the check.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this place charges a 3.9% service fee if you use a card.I wish that information was disclosed before we ordered, because that’s just shady business. Our waitress was transparent, but told us this when we got the check. Our appetizers were cold. We ordered the calamari and lamb tacos. The chicken sandwich was good, but my friend ordered the burger and asked for it to be medium. Her burger was well done. The drinks were good, but not worth it to come back.

We booked this restaurant prior to a show at Brooklyn Academy of Music -- me and my spouse were meeting my grad-school aged child who lives in NY to see this play together. The reservation was for 5:30 and the show wan't until 7:30, so that seemed like plenty of time. The restaurant is pub food -- good standard dishes, nothing fancy. We ordered an appetizer and entrees. After the appetizer two dishes came out -- one for my me and one for my spouse. We waited for the third entree. We asked the server--"it's on its way." We waited longer. My kid implored us to eat. We started in on our entrees and kept asking every few minutes. Finally, at almost 6:50 PM our server said that we just weren't going to get the other entree in time for us to make the show. They said it'd be at least 15 to 20 minutes before the entree would come out. There was little in the way of an apology and no modification to the bill. We paid and left and had to grab a muffin prior to the show for my child to eat. I wanted to treat my kid to a nice dinner before the show. Instead, it was a disaster. Seemed like others were having trouble as well. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Omelet was rubbery, my friend ordered two over medium eggs and they came out way after the rest of our food and almost hard boiled?? Fries were mushy, the cocktail was overly sweet and not as described. It’s a shame because it’s a really cute spot inside and the staff seems nice.

Happened on this spot after a quick Google search. It's a cute little step down restaurant/bar. I was greeted immediately and asked if I wanted indoor, outdoor or the bar. Since it was just me I opted for the bar. From the moment I opened the doors the music was on point. The brunch menu is not that big but there's definitely something for everyone. I had the 3 egg omelet, biscuits, home fries and a mimosa. It wasn't crowded but there were definitely other customers. The food came out fairly quickly. I really enjoyed the biscuits w/butter and jam (if the butter was room temp or spreadable that would have added to it). The omelet was perfect and the home fries were good (they were a little on the cool side but not cold enough to send them back).I had a Moscow Mule after which was delish. The staff was nice, attentative and seemed like they enjoy their job. (Small bonus, they have under the bar hooks?).Will definitely be going back.

Hard to see from the street, but this is an excellent restaurant and bar run by Zia and team. Well-designed seasonal cocktails, great burgers, creative entrees, and good vegetarian options. Relaxed vibe and friendly clientele, amazing brunch. Check out the back garden, with heat lamps in winter...

The atmosphere was amazing, my sister and I enjoyed the food and thr drinks. The manager ZIA was amazing greeting every that walked into the restaurant and made sure to hit every table to make sure they were doing great. The staff were very attentive, and new the menu which was amazing
