my first time here and loved everything we tried! I saw a news story on them and was inspired by their mission. went to the ues location and got a chance to talk with nasser. he gave his recommendations and they were as great as I hoped they would be. got the spicy fried chicken sandwich, halloumi chorizo bowl, lamb torta, lamb empanada, chorizo empanada, mushroom spinach empanada, mushroom spinach cheese empanada, mac and cheese, and lemon sumac cookie. I loved the flavour textures and how they brought together food from both founders' backgrounds. I am def going back to support to try everything else I didn't get to last time. thanks to Chef Raul who threw down last fri.!

The food is fantastic and full of flavor. I popped in to try the empanadas and had to come back to try fattoush salad and chicken sandwich. So delicious. If you haven't stop by yet, you have to! I promise you will not be disappointed.
Good food with lots of veggies. If you’re missing some vitamins while visiting usa, definitely go there. Salads with tasty dressings, although there could be more veggies than main green lettuce.

Naseer hooked us into a convo while we were checking out the menu. A cool guy with tons of info on new york things to do. Food was delicious. Lamb and chicken are halal.
I ordered empanadas for my daughters birthday party from the newly opened upper east side location. When I called to ask about the menu, Nasser, one of the owners explained everything and was so helpful. He even offered me a discount. Along with the empanadas they also sent a bunch of delicious complimentary cookies and wrote a really nice birthday note. The empanadas themselves were sooo good - maybe the best I’ve ever had. I especially loved the chicken one. I wish I ordered more - they were gone very quickly. I can’t wait to go back to the restaurant and try the rest of the menu. This is my new favorite local restaurant.
