Lovely quiet atmosphere. Wide selection of sushi. We got a mix of appetizers and sides and it was totally the way to go. I really appreciated that the service staff let us pace ourselves and order different appetizers in multiple orders as we wanted to. Favorites: the lamb riblets (literally could cut with a fork). Ditto on the tongue (so soft.) Veal sweetbreads were crunchy if you like it that way. I will definitely always order a side of gnocchi. I am a big gnocchi fan and these were perhaps the best I’ve had- crispy on the outside and soft inside. Amazing.
Not my first time here and definitely will not be the last. Food was delicious and the service is truly second to none. Looking for a night out with good food and a great experience? The Loft is the place!
Came here with 6 guys on a busy Tuesday night, and we were very impressed. The food was Manhattan-level quality, starting with the appetizers. The ambiance was very homey and comfortable, and the waiters were extremely quick and professional. The appetizers and mains arrived extremely quickly. Probably faster than most other restaurants I've eaten at. Everything was great. Loved the chicken lollipops, the lamb riblets, sushi, and the out of left field Japanese dumplings with pineapple. Everything had a certain flair and good crunch. For the mains, everyone got the delmonico, but I got the fillet and very glad I did. The total per person was $150 - we went heavy on the apps and got a bottle of wine ($75) as well. Overall, great restaurant and I will be back!
This place deserves a 20 star rating. Jewish kitchen for those in need of this type of dietary option. I went for a work dinner and was blown away .. not one thing was "meh" or "good" ... everything was " oh wow" and had me wondering if I should order take home. The staff was great and I learned alot from those whom practice jeudisim. The kitchen is meat based so the "dairy" is lactose free. Which made my heart happy lol. I was able to enjoy the food without fear of bloat. Per person I'd say it was $175... could have been lower if I didn't order the lamb a specialty drink and the most expensive dessert. But I tell you this! I have no complaints ! And will be inviting friends to enjoy this 20 star restaurant.
The food tastes delicious and each dish is an art (look at pics). Waiters are very well trained and the food is being served very quick!
Been here a dozen times, finally got around to reviewing the place.5 out of 5 stars! In all categories.Have only 2 misgivings,A. LocationB. The bartender, they couldn't deviate from the menu a bit. Couldn't even add mint to a daiquiri (This from a previous experience)Basically the bartenders don't know how to improvise (a problem in all kosher restaurants)
Please be aware of this guy. He represents himself as working at the loft which he used to. and offers you catering. My husband and I had lost over 20k doing business with him. Be aware
A+ Was blown away by how well this place is operating. Great ambiance, exceptional customer devotion, good food, etc. Manager went out of his way to accommodate us on a bustling evening, even though we didn't have a proper reservation. Will definitely be back.
A sleepy midweek evening didn’t stop people from filling up this Boro Park mainstay and after my first visit I understand why. It was a perfect evening starting with the friendly greeting by the hosts and other staff while being escorted to our table The experienced wait staff will walk you through the menu but think any choice would likely be a good one. The steaks and apps were great it’s as simple as that. ???
