I went here with my friends for lunch. I ordered a sandwich. It was a delicious sandwich. Although, there was one problem. The tomato. Now, don't get me wrong; I love a good tomato. But this tomato, this one tomato in particular.... I don't know what I didn't like about it. maybe it was the seasoning? The flavor? I'm not sure... All I knew was that it was too big. I took a bite out of the sandwich, and I got the entire tomato. It was too chewy. I couldn't swallow it. I decided to just keep chewing it until I could. But it was not long until the horrors of the tomato caught up to me. It engulfed my mouth, resulting in pure agony. I continued chewing the tomato. I began to feel physically ill from this tomato. I couldn't bear it a second longer. My life flashed before my eyes and I saw God. But most of all, I saw the tomato. The tomato angelically perambulated towards me and told me this was the end whilst slowly caressing the rest of the sandwich in my hand. I knew what had to be done. Tears flowed out of my eyes as I approached the nearest trash can. The light became brighter and brighter. I saw myself run towards the trash can. I watched as I spit the tomato inside. I could hear the words of the tomato: "you did good"Finally, I was free from torture. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good.10/10 would come again.

Excellent Service!! Always fresh & delicious ?

I come here all the time and I always tell my friends to come here because they have the absolute best bagels I’ve ever had. I came in today with a broken foot and the staff was so sweet and accommodating to me and I appreciate that more than anything. Amazing experience ❤️ @ the Freehold location!

Called ahead to ask for an egg on the bagel I ordered; they confirmed yes then made it without the egg. Double checked whether the egg was added before leaving and they said no, with no offer to correct the order. Please listen to your customers so they aren't paying for something they don't want.

I usually order from grubhub: breakfast platters, bagels and sandwiches. It's always 2/3. The bagels and sandwiches are always good. But they consistently forget at least one thing from the breakfast platter orders. I've ordered from them numerous times now, and I can always count on everything being correct except the breakfast. Called this morning, as I have numerous other mornings to ask for a refund on the item they always forget only to be told that despite the fact that the item (sausage links) appears on their menu, they don't actually carry them. So why is it on the menu?? But, you'd better believe that they charge you for them! Very disappointing.

An old time favorite located just outside of Prospect Park's Bartel-Prichard Circle. There has been a bagel shop here for as far back as I can remember. A better bagel or sandwich cannot be found in this area. It is a clean store that unfortunately no longer allows dining in. Great service and coffee.

Very decent sandwiches, generous portions of cold cuts, bagels to make Brooklyn proud.

This is my favorite bagel place in Brooklyn. The flat everything bagel is absolutely incredible (my only request would before you guys to have a whole wheat flat everything option), and with the sun-dried tomato cream cheese, it is just NYC bagel perfection. Keep doing your thing! Amazing place to grab a bagel and then enjoy it in prospect park.

Lived in the NY for about 10+ years now but I’m originally from ocean county NJ and after just moving to park slope I was thrilled when I saw this place! I use to go to the freehold location all the time so this was a treat. My only complaint which honestly getting pork roll anywhere in the city is the same issue, everyone tends to undercook the pork roll. Just ask for it crispy when ordering. So good

Don’t even bother going here, there are plenty of great bagel places in the area that will take the time to do it right. I waited in a really long line to get a bagel that was absolutely destroyed when I opened it. It looked like it was thrown together and then was smashed when it was wrapped. It literally looked like someone had stepped on it. The pork roll barely looked like it was cooked and the egg was falling apart. It was saturated with grease and even if the bagel was good it was a soggy mess. Will not be returning.
