Salmon quality is good but 33$/lb? The biggest ripoff I've ever seen and straight up price gouging. This is farm raised sushi grade so I'll give it some leeway but come on

Everything in the deli section is fresh and delicious! I get the Onigiri all the time and the poke bowls are a good bang for your buck! Staff is not particularly warm but I go In for what I need and head right out.
If you love a good deal on Sushi/rolls/onigiri and other cooked food, get here at 8pm. That's when they offer a 50% discount before closing. Occasionally, you may find some heavily discounted Japanese snacks too.
Many great products but second employee chose to harass me and search my bags which he would know I had paid for if he had helped the older man at the register. Will not be returning and regret patronizing at all. There are other Japanese grocery stores in Brooklyn that are managed properly and deserve business instead.
Highly recommend their sushi, onigiri, and bento! Great value and better than a lot of other sushi restaurants. Also, so convenient for those who need to purchase Asian groceries. A neighborhood staple.
A really great spot for Japanese ingredients and snacks. I stop in here as often as I can. Love it.

I visit here about once a week for staples like frozen udon, big shiitake & king oyster mushrooms, sauces/seasonings. Their hot food area with onigiri and sushi and other options is some of the best in the city at their price point! Also love picking up a new beverage & sweet treat to try every time :)
