Eh, the food was ok. It was a little on the salty side but not a deal breaker. I went there on the recommendation of a friend who decided to join me at the last moment. We entered together and joined the line. I went first and ordered a small stewed chicken. 'May I have a small stew chicken, please' She asked 'what kind of rice?' I said 'Rice & peas, please'. (It's a small container and they put a nice portion of rice & peas. You will be full. I was.) The server closed the lid and asked 'Anything else?' I hesitated and said 'Just the small' She slid the container down to the cashier. My friend was next and got the same size order but for some reason theirs came automatically with sides (placed in separate containers).... I did end up asking the cashier if mine came with anything else and was answered 'yes' so I choose a side. Later, while walking back to the job I find out I was due two sides not one. For some reason the workers' attitudes just felt... off. I didn't like the vibe, didn't feel welcome, and probably wouldn't go back. It's probably a very good value for money if you're one of the ones who gets their full order.

Never had an issue with the servers, employees as they are pleasant and courteous. I have had the jerk wings many times and they never disappoint at all. Just the right amount of heat and the jerk seasoning perfect. Now let's get to the pattees. The chicken one is ridiculous to say the least with the right amount of seasoning. Filled perfectly. I tried the salmon one and that one was ok as I couldn't figure out the yellow seasoning. I tried the Ackee pattee and it was love at first bite. Absolutely impressed. Flakey, fresh and the right amount of Ackee filling. Ackee looks like scrambled eggs but has a slight pea taste. Delicious and now one of my favorite pattees. Cannot recommend it enough. The vegetable pattee is delicious and has cabbage and collared greens giving it a nice healthy twist. The pattees all around are fresh, flakey and are not overfilled. They weigh a tad over 5 ounces, but less than 6 ounces. A must try place all around.

I Ordered chicken soup large nothing in the soup but one potatoes and three pieces of carrots and a few corn and one dumplings. The chicken is disgusting very red which mean they did no clean the chicken. I am Caribbean and I know for a fact chicken soup is not made like that. So disappointed. They would not have my hard earn money again!!!
Customer service here is the worst..the servers attitude towards its customers is terrible. They really act like when you go in there to pay you’re begging for the food instead of paying . Out of all the restaurants in the neighborhood this is the worst . If these women are unhappy with their jobs go back to school and get a better career. I will always rate the other restaurants around here besides them. For better food and service i suggest Mandeville restaurant right up the block . Bad Customer service will drive away customers. Tastee you’re Done!!!!! BTW the food is not Tasty. And none of you guys in their are Jamaicans stop claiming you’re a Jamaican spot and embarrassing my country with that joke yll call food.
