This place was really good. As someone else mentioned, it looks super outdated but don't let that fool you. I got guava and orange pineapple ice cream, plus a beef patty and all were delicious. You get a good amount of ice cream for what you pay compared to other ice cream shops in NYC as well.
Not sure what is happening here but the quality of ice cream is the same as customer service.A neighborhood gem gone to waste with poor service. I had Irish Moss ice cream and peanut ice cream with the last 2 months and they both taste the same...like nutmeg.Please revisit the ice cream recipe.As far as customer service, the guys here are very slow and rude. They also do not have the guts to control the drunk men harassing female customers in the store.Truly disappointed.
This is the third time I do a ubereats delivery order from here and they never give the ubereats worker the 2nd bag that contains the Hot Jamaican patties that's separate from the ice cream order. Please stay more focus on better customers service
Their ice cream is very rich and creamy, I will not buy their pastries though, it's not always fresh, surroundings could do with some improvement, too much clutter behind the counter, gives an unsanitary appearance, other than than that, they're ok.
Check out the hand packed great nut. I don't know why but it tastes way better than the previous packed. I drive from queens into Brooklyn to get this
I bought two half pints of Lime sherbet and Mango pineapple. The smoothness and flavors were out of this world. I will definitely return to try other flavors. Reasonable prices as well
Used to be old dairy queen but renamed in 1979!! Try distinctly unique flavors such as GreatNut, Guava, rum nut, and Irish Guinness.
This place has incredible ice cream. Everything has a super fresh, homemade taste. They have unique, natural flavors with a tropical vibe in vibrant colors. Don’t let looks deceive - it has a real hole-in-the-wall look to it, but that adds to the charm - this place is legit. Friendly staff but a long line. Be patient, it’s worth it.
Thanks for putting these back on shelves. I recently moved from the bronx where I find them in stop and shops, grace supermarket, palm tree. They are the best grape nut and rum and raisin ice cream!!! I was so sad when they took them out but God answered my prayers and their back. Try them . You won't regret!!!
