Had the stuffed cabbage. It was very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tanoreen is a amazing restaurant in Bay Ridge with beautiful decor, and a very tasty menu. Took my mom here for her 50th birthday and she loved it! They provide good portion sizes. Highly recommend and I will definitely come back!10/10 it was amazing I love that many of the food options are vegetarian/vegan friendly a large variety and selection!! The Eggplant Napoleon was really good. I recommend the cauliflower steak it’s huge! Also the chicken shawarma sliders were amazing!

This is such a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant that has delicious food and good service. The prices can seem a tad high, but once you get the food you see why. They provide nice sizes portions and everything is fresh. The overall appearance (including the bathroom) is well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive and the bartender can really whip up a great margarita. I highly recommend and I will most certainly be back!

To begin with, my husband was very ill at night after this dinner, he vomited all night! I don't know why this place is highly praised, but we were disappointed. Everything we ordered (and there were 4 of us) was too sour, it was impossible to eat. Please add less lemon or it was some kind of sour sauce! Too sour!!! They even tried to spoil the hummus! So people be careful, take care of your stomachs!

We were in Bay Ridge for the Norwegian Day Parade and the Free Palestine Demonstration. I have been trying to get to Tanoreen for years and something always prevented me. I was psyched having heard nothing but good things. The room was nice and the staff, numerous and polite. We were seated quickly on this late Sunday afternoon, it was moderately crowded. We scanned and used our phones to read the menu. After a consultation with my wife, we ordered a kale salad to split, a vegetarian combo and a Mushbaka (?) for myself. The special I ordered was a lamb rice dish that is baked and flipped upside down and served. Unwarmed pita bread was put on the table with a few pickled vegetables.our lemonade and iced tea arrived. The salad was fine with a nice tahini based dressing. Silverware was replaced and our entrees came out. My barely warm 'ovenbaked' thirty dollar lamb and rice dish was sent back to be heated up. It was good and a enough food for two people but nothing to gush about. It wasn't anything I couldn't have done at home. I ordered another iced tea and it took so long to arrive I thought, they had forgotten it. I was told they had made a new batch. I had finished eating at that point and the five dollar long awaited iced tea, sat there. The wife said her veggie platter was very good. I felt my hundred dollar late lunch wasn't worth it and won't be back.

Haven’t had the fetti at Tanoreen? You’re missing out. It’s one of those things you continue eating even after you’re full.Love the cauliflower steak. The two dishes alone is enough food for two people. I love the vibes here and will be returning ? @foodjunkiesnyc

Excellent food, service. We had the cauliflower steak with tahini and pomegranate molasses sauce and the Chicken Musakhan. For mains I had the Jerusalem Artichoke and my wife had the stuffed cabbage both dishes were delicious the braised beef in my dish melted in your mouth, the seasoning and spices in everything were perfect. We finished our meal with the Knafeh which was just out of this world. Everything came out quick, hot and delicious. Place also has a really nice atmosphere and the staff were great, We will be back there soon!
