AMAZING is the only word to describe our Saturday evening at Tambour. Even with some challenges the hostess and the owner made us feel at ease and well cared for… a welcome gesture after coming into Brooklyn from Utah. The vibe here is relaxed and comfortable. The Salmon and Hanger Steak were as good as we have ever had at any price. The music was chill and we enjoyed every minute. Would recommend this south slope hidden gem to anyone! A+
I convinced my boyfriend to go on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised by their live music. Most importantly the food had fantastic! My boyfriend got the demi glaze pork chop and I ordered the crispy salmon. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. Highly recommend for checking all the boxes (food, experience, service).
Really wonderful live jazz, rock, blues music. No cover. And we had a delicious meal - crispy chick peas, perfectly cooked salmon with beets and couscous and a yummy portobello burger. And, we had a nice chat with the owner Nicholas!
Definitely a must try! The food, drinks, and live music was great! Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I'll be making a return trip for sure.
