I had a catering with Tamara restaurant on May 29th, 2022. I paid for my full order, and when the orders were picked up, one of my trays were missing. The poule dur was salty; my green salad was missing, and so forth. I had to keep calling to find out when they will return my money for the green salad that was missing.I wouldn't recommend Tamara restaurant to anyone.
UPDATETamara, these rude girls you hire are destroying your livelihood. For 4 months I didn't go here although it's around the corner from me. Why are they so rude because I don't speak creole? It's a lil outrageous. I saw a guy from Uber eats simply enquiring how long before it's ready and honestly the response would've made me do the same thing he did, which was to cancel the order and leave. Poor guy.Service:I'm from the English speaking Caribbean and I know nothing of Haitian Creole. However, they insist on speaking creole with me even when I request them to speak in English. That's the first turn off.....and there's always a stink attitude.Then, because I'm not Haitian, I don't automatically get the black bean sauce UNLESS I go with my Haitian friend... Otherwise I have to ask for it.There's one lady, she's very sweet. Her English is weak but she tries and that's all I ask.Environment:Usually very clean and organized.Food:Is amazing! That's why even with the service, I keep going back. The food is really good!Recommend turkey fritay, and rice with legumes. When ordering any type of fritay, try calling two days ahead... Not even funny the wait for this EVERY TIME.
Good food, always good and fresh. I am not Haitian but i enjoy the food very much. Recommend it to anyone looking to try Haitian food and anyone that eat Haitian food regularly. This is a our spot to go
The food is always super tasty and fresh. I use Ubereats and they’re always able to just pick it up and leave the store without much wait time. Amazing portions for a good price. I had so much trouble finding a good Haitian spot near me but this food taste as if it came directly from my family.

Ordered from Uber eats they food is dry & tasteless it's not what I expected it to be a very big disappointment. I will never order from them again. You would think Haitian rice would be the bombs but not this one.
Ordered tassot . The food came and it smelled like fish . The food was fried so much that it was hard and no longer edible . Never ordering from this spot again . Worst Haitian food ever
This place has lousy customer service. I called to speak about a mishap that happened with my order and whoever answered the phone had no patience and was just overall rude. I would not recommend.
I’ve gotten food from here twice and don’t plan on ordering again. I was curious about them since they first opened up in the neighborhood so on a whim I gave it a try. The first time I ordered from them I got rice and beans with fried goat and macaroni salad. The goat was okay, but I didn’t care for the rice or the macaroni salad at all; plus considering I ordered right before they closed you would’ve thought I wouldn’t have to wait an insane amount of time for my food right, nope I walked in and there were two other people ahead of me. One guy got so upset about his wait that he started arguing with the staff. Second time I ordered was this past week and I wanted some fritaille. Placed me order on Uber Eats and was given what I thought was a reasonable time between preparation and delivery. My food ended up getting to me almost 30 minutes past my delivery time. At that point I didn’t even want it anymore. I got chicken fritaille and there was like 8 pieces of fried plantains and only 2 akra ??♀️. The chicken was also lacking seasoning. I definitely won’t be back.
I recommend nobody to go to that restaurant the owner who goes by Mr Jean is a nasty individual he has no customer service skills at all he has a nasty unfriendly attitude. He would actually talk to you anyway he would want despite that you actually spending money there. Several other individuals are complaining about him he should not be a restaurant owner, a place where customer services come first. He is a mean individual that has no respect for paying customers please avoid this place
